She stood, staring out of the tower cell, azure eyes filled with hot pain. A long, sweeping gaze traveled over the ground below. The gallows had been adapted foe this event. Long, silken ribbons of black wove themselves around the pathway she would soon be walking.
Disgusted, she turned and folded her arms over her stomach. she hadn't known... Lifting a palm to her forehead, she pressed the heel against her eyes, to attempt stopping the tears.
Even now, waiting for her execution, Syrenia was beautiful. Her soft, cream skin appeared pale against the long, flowing gown of ebony; Golden locks pulled into a timlessly gorgeous up-do, with a few strands hanging against her face. Pale blue eyes seemed hard against the dark liner of mascara and kohl, while her lips, were full and wet with a gentle caramel glazed hue.
She waited.
Standing several feet below the tower, was another aphrodite, her broze eyes wide and horrified. "What the bloody hell do you mean by this?!" She demenaded, shaking a guard, whom had informed her as to why she'd been summone here. "God damnit, let me take her home! This is bullshit!"
Her angular face and slightly tanned skin was flushed with anger, and fear for her dear friend. "Please, don't do this. Let me take her from here- no one has to know!"
The man solumnly shook his head. She struck him. "NO!" Tears freed themselves from her eyes, and she hung her head, miserably before looking up at the starry sky. "Oh Sy, how did this happen..?" Alura exhailed a staggered breath and hung her head. "No..."

He refused to leave. He had told Katrina and had told her to go to safety, that he would be there shortly but, he had lied. He had made a promise to Syrenia that he wouldn't die with her. That he'd take their daughter and leave but his soul didn't make the promise, his heart didn't. He stood in the crowd, for once in his human form with a cloak pulled up over his head. He pushed his way through the crowd till he was standing right before her, blue eyes filled with tears. "Please, Syrenia..." he whispered. "Let me break you free and we can all run..." he told her.

It was a sobering scene indeed. The so called ‘strong’ leaders of the lycan and shifter races, weeping like children. But even in times like these there were smiles to be seen. Or rather, not seen, in this case. Invisible to all except to those who knew how to ‘see’, Wraith made his way up the tower, and towards the doomed woman. As much as he would have liked to view a public execution, there were things on his agenda that conflicted with that interest. Whispering into her thoughts, his suave voice spoke with a smug manner as his eyes scanned the crowd below.
“Oh how the mighty have fallen.. Yesterday the same people that are going to kill you, would have given their lives for you in battle. What a tragic irony indeed.” Wraith glanced at Alura, causing a fuss, and grinned before continuing.
“So much good you have done for these people, and this is how they repay you, with a knife in your back and a noose around your neck. Is this really how the great Syrenia will end her story? Your true friends see the injustice in this act, but what will they do, I wonder?” He paused for a moment as a hooded figure approached before the tower, not quite recognizing the man’s face. Seeing his devotion to Syrenia though, he could only assume that this was her resurrected husband, Lupus. Twisting this opportunity to his advantage, he removed his voice from her thoughts, and instead spoke softly into her ear.
“Will they rescue you from your fate and become fugitives on the run? If the shifters get involved, it might start a war between the lycans and them. Very bad indeed, considering the current tensions with the other races.. Heh, you’re becoming quite the little trouble maker as the days go by, aren’t you? But I do believe there is someone missing from your entourage, isn’t there? Surely your vigilant bodyguard should have come to prevent this mess, yes? That is if he wasn’t, held up, by anything..”
Sharp eyes kept a close watch on things from above, as the tiny figure slowly circled the night sky. This place, was supposed to be filled with mirth. But now the atmosphere of dismay washed over nearly everyone gathered. Wings beating silently as he continued to observe from above, he took careful note of the many armed guards present, ready for any sort of coup d'état. There were mixed feelings amongst the spectators as well. While some dumbly hailed the upcoming death sentence for Syrenia’s so called treachery, others condemned it. Truly this was an era of strife, but how did it come down to this? At such a critical time?
Lost in his thoughts, Lemartes allowed the cool night breeze to calm him down as he glided on silver feathered wings. He was supposed to be recovering still, but when he had heard why Alura had left so suddenly, he refused to be left behind. Merely gliding on the currents as he made lazy circles, his beak clenched tight. Lemartes would not sit idly while this mockery of justice was being carried out. He had not forgotten what his lycan friends had done for him on his wedding day. And he’d be damned if he did nothing to help them in their time of need.
He was well aware that the new leadership to the lycans might not appreciate what he was going to do, and that the possible consequences of his actions might bode ill for his kind. However, if the lycans were spineless and blind enough to allow such an atrocity like this to carry through, his faith in them would be lost anyway.

Syrenia blinked icily at Wraith, though knew what he spoke was true. 'Loyal' subjects, so freely offereng her up to teh executionist. Still, she held her head high with dignity, her jaw clenched, eyes wet with tears.
When Lupus approached, her heart snapped in two. She shook her head. "Lupus- Please no, if they catch you my love, they will surely kill you..." she bit ehr lip and shook her head before furrowing her brows.
His words fell upon numb ears, until his words of Jacob. "Jake? what have you bastards done to him?" Her eyes were hot with anger, and then hollow with misery. How had she failed so.. quickly?
Alura glared at the gaurd, and clenched her fists. "You will release her, immediately, or so help me god, I will kill you on this very spot." The Lycan's expression darkened, and her grabed a fistful of the shiftress' hair. She yelped instinctively at the forceful action. He made her look to the tower.
"At midnight, she dies." He growled darkly.
Alura turned and pushed away from him, the back of her scalp throbbing from the intenstity of which he had been holding her hair. "Do not ever lay a hand on a lady." She growled, hand inching toward the hilt of her sword.
Furious, she approached the gallows, which were much more elevated than usual. She would adress this crowd. And they would listen.
with a powerful leap, she was upon the platform.
"Listen to me!" A few looked, while others mumbled to themselves. Anger clicked within her heart, and a savage war-like cry wrang above the crowd. "LISTEN TO ME NOW!" An urgent silence fell over the Lycans. "You fools! How can you let this happen? Hmm? Syrenia, Lupus and Katrina have held the throne for over sixty years; and kept you safe from Vampires, Fallen Angels, Drows-- This is how you repay them?" Her voice was ridden with anger and horror. "I once respected Lycans- and now, you horrid mutts, you sacrifice a woman who has given you her life in dedication? More an any of you'll ever do! God damnit! How can you sit here, idle when you know damn well that this is wrong?! She may not have been the queens' daughter, but she was the kings. And they loved her. You all loved her. half of you helped raise her, the other half, she helped raise you! And now, you come to watch her die?! Dispicable!" Her golden locks lay against her flushed face as she glared out at the crowd, bronze eyes filled with tears.

The frosty male wolf snickered as he settled in next to Alura. Clicking his tongue, he cut in. "Tsk, Tsk Alura. This woman upheld the law against everyone, but herself. She committed treason! Had any of us done such a horrible thing, we wouldn't have until midnight. She would have had us killed in a heartbeat. Let us do to her, as she would have done to us. This woman you speak so fondly of, Alura, lied to us for years about her true self. Where is her newborn child? She did mention such a thing, did she not? Well, fret not dear wolves of grace. I am Aaron Shurst. My mate Aurora and I come from the ancient blood lines. Let us lead the werewolf nation back into a pure, real-" He cut Syrenia a look as he continued. "nation of grace, instead of a nasty web of lies out ...great... leader ha sled us into."
He snickered at Alura, and grinned. Her body was a wonderland. He would have easily taken her there, if their hadn't been so many watching. ~~~~~~~~
Katrina fought her way through the crowd. Her solid black wolf form cut easily through the crowd. She stopped at Syrenia's side, growling angrily. Morphing back into her human self, she shouted at the beating crowd. Turning to the man who had grabbed Alura, she growled. "Touch her, or my mother again, and I will have your head." she morphed into her werewolf form angrily as she spoke.
~~~~~~~
Crissy and Allyssa were teary eyed and standing by Syrenia's side. "Dearest Syrenia.." Crissy pulled her into a hug as she cried on the womans shoulder. The two were to bless the woman before the execution. Allyssa was watching the events falling out on eby one. This would not end well for anyone.
~~~~~~~
The omen was close by, as she was at every death. She was saddened by the sight. Sitting on her branch gently, she swung her legs as she sighed. So much death... So little time... The world was slowly beginning to stop turning on it;s axel. ~~~~~
A cold wind sweapt over the damp, hot air around the dark gallows. A peace overtook everyone as the angel-like woman stepped gently onto the scene. She sighed. "What have you all done to the peace I laid on this land so many years ago.." Tori spoke sadly as she touched the dead greass gently. Looking up at Alura and Aaron, she shook her head. "Such a waste of such beautiful creatures." She spoke to everyone now.
She released Ayala as she looked over the crowd and back tp Syrenia. "My darling, you were one of my favorites. "

Seeing his daughter leap up beside Syrenia, Lupus did the same snarling on the other side of Syrenia. "I will NOT leave you!" he growled softly to her. "We are a family. Families do not abandon each other..."
Ayala stepped away from Tori, her eyes wide. There were so many werewolves here. Could this possibly be her father's clan?

Tori shook her head at Lupus. "Lupus.. " She sighed gently. Now was not the time, or perhaps it was. "Lupus.. This is Ayala.. Your...daughter.." She looked at ayala gently. "and...I am your mother.." She said softly.

“Well, well, well… We have a whole bloody family reunion, eh? Wonderful! Just so happens we got some extra rope for another noose or two..” Stepping out from the crowd, the human grinned up at the scene unfolding on the small wooden structure. There was a large coil of rope slung over one of his shoulders, and across his chest in a diagonal manner. Arms folded in front of his torso, he chuckled. “A noose for Lupus, a noose for Katrina, maybe a couple more for Ayala and Tori as well, hm?” Expression confident, he calmly fiddled with the end of the rope he carried, taking his time in making a noose while talking. There was a mischievous look in his eyes, which he did not remove from Aaron. “I am curious though, oh mighty one. Lady Syrenia has done her best to preserve and protect this land and its inhabitants. Everything was going well, up until you showed up out of the blue like this, causing such a fuss just because she’s from the King’s seed, and you from the Queen’s seed.”
“Just my two cents, but I do believe the King takes priority.. And if things have been working well up until you came, why fix what isn’t broken? You seem quite hasty with her death, don’t tell me that if we leave her alive, your claim to the throne is in jeopardy, that is, if you have any at all? That would be interesting indeed.. Because then we would have reason to suspect that there’s foul play afoot here..” Raising the noose up so it looked like it was around Aaron’s neck, Apollo’s wily grin reappeared as he continued to stand before the tower. “Which would mean, all those whom you have turned against Syrenia, would then turn, on you.. Pray they don’t take you alive, hm? Oh, and one last thing, sir. Head’s up.” The last comment trailed off into a quiet smirk, but Apollo said nothing more.
Tiny slits on the sides of his head, the falcon’s eyes narrowed at Aaron’s snide remarks. Deciding to take action, his silver wings tucked themselves to his sides, his body rocketing down towards the ‘noble’ werewolf. Morphing into his human form in the air, he shifted his posture so he would be landing feet first. Politics wasn’t at the forefront of his mind at the moment, as the distance closed, his forearms molded themselves into long metal blades. Lemartes landed in a heavy crouch beside Aaron, his blades following his descent in front of him before biting into the wooden floor. He wasn’t sure if he had hit him or not, but his entrance had its desired effect on the crowd he noticed. Rising slowly with a frown, he stared at Aaron eye to eye. “Next time you look at my wife like that again, I will personally neuter you, tramp. And mark my words, I will sever both heads off…” His tone was calm. It wasn’t a threat. It was a promise.
Ah, so she could see him. No matter. Shrugging innocently, Wraith avoided the female’s gaze. Speaking into her thoughts now, because of the crowd on the platform, the demon smiled. “If anything you should be thanking me. If I didn’t claim him, he would have died, poor thing.. Is there no one who will go to his rescue? After all the times he has rescued others? What a cruel fate indeed. Heh, just like the one you are in, yes?”
Taking a step away from Syrenia as Allyssa and Crissy came near, the demon frowned. He had not planned for them to be here. This was just supposed to be a one on one deal. “Tch..” His gaze then scanned the crowd for any others who might be able to detect him. Tori, and Ashina.. Biting his lower lip in a rare display of irritation, he sighed. It couldn’t be helped. His words drifted back into Syrenia’s head. “Perhaps we could perform a sort of, trade, for your comrade? There is someone I want, dead, preferably. Don’t feel obligated to follow through of course, if you think your time is now, so be it.”
Ashina’s branch shook slightly as a hand reached out and gently took hers. Seated at her side was none other then her traveling companion and lover, expression surprisingly a little optimistic. A light smile creased his lips, and his eyes held a hopeful glow in them. Shaded from the moon by the leaves around them, his silver hair and tail did not give off a radiant ‘aura,’ but it would be inappropriate anyways. “These are troubling times, Ashina. But even in the darkest of nights, the sun will rise soon after. Try not to worry so much.”

Tori glared at Apollo. "You will hold your tongue. You forget who you speak to." she said icily. Turning to Lupus, she shoved ayala at him and stepped up onto the platform. She could do nothing to aid Syrenia, or the others. She could only aid those tied to her. Ayala. ~~~~~
Ashina smiled lightly at Alex. "Every day it is time to worry. I want to help Syrenia.. But if I show my face.. If anyone else see's me..." She buried her face in her hands. He had been the only one able to survive her, to cheat fate.. Others would not e so lucky... ~~~~~
Aaron smirked. "One could ask you the same question. You seem eager to end this womans life as well. As for when I appeared, it seemed to be at the perfect time, I've only been here about a day.. Does that give me enough time to corrupt everyone and everything? No, it doesn't. Syrenia has been committing treason since she took the throne, Carrying out her orders on everyone but herself, and you try to blame me. Fool. " he countered Apollo indifferently. His wife was much better with words.
Turning to Lemartes, he smirked. "You must be her partner. Lucky man. And where is Nikkie these fine nights?" He provoked. ~~~~

Syrenia's deep, royal ocean eyes shimmered with the deepest of sorrows. "You will have the strength of every Lycan in the course to recover our beloved Jacob."
Shifting, she rolled her shoulders foreward, trying to comfort the two priestess' whom seemed so deeply aggreived. Sighing heavily, she looked toward Lupus, then Katrina. Tears finaly sprung from her eyes, at the sight of her dear Katrina. She bit her lip and blinked as tears traced themselves from her eyes. She pardoned herself from the others, and moved to her daughter.
"Rina, my little Rina--" She wrapped her arms around her child- for the first time in what had seemed an eternity. A weight seemed to lift from her soul; and finally, she was ready to succumb to the fate that was being etched out for her.
Just as Alura had begun to respond to Aaron, Aurora took her place at ehr mate's side, pale blue eyes scathing toward the other woman. The two were stunning. Alura, an amazonian like woman, with a body of angular structure, thin, yet muscular- and oh so feminine.
A complete contrast to Aurora, whose body was anything but warrior like. She had sof skin, and a demure, petit frame, yet still held a certain power. SHe glared at Alura, and gaped at Lemartes' harsh words. She growled softly, before looking back at Alura and rolling ehr eyes.
At Aaron's last comment, Alura's palm connected with his cheek. "Do not speak of my daughter!" She hissed venomously.

Rina hugged her mother back. "I wont let go. You will not leave me here." she whispered into her mothers ears. Morphing down to her human form, she clung to her mother. She felt like a child afraid of the dark..But dooming darkness was rolling like thunder in her direction. ~~~~~
Aaron licked his top lip as a small drop of blood dripped out. "Ah. I see the others still have her.. Your not a very good parent.." He snickered. Placing an arm around Aurora, he looked to and fro between the two women, then to Lemartes. "On second thought, I'm the lucky man." He seethed, stroking Aurora's cheek gently. "Your woman is a bit... butch to say the least." he snapped.

((I'M BACK!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BYNX!!!))
Lupus wrapped his arms around his small family and hugged them close. He wasn't about to let them go. They would all run together, stand up together or die together. It was what his family was all about. When Tori appeared, he tensed. His eyes moved from her to the beautiful woman before and he tensed. It couldn't be...
Ahren managed to push himself through the crowd and find himself beside Katrina, eyes burning to all those around him. There was no way in Hell Katrina would succumb to this fate. The little he had known Syrenia, the thought that she was a traitor never crossed his mind. She had been so calm and polite. She was so good to her people and yet, they turn aganist her.
Ayala's eyes widened as she stared at her father clutching onto the two women before him. she knew he had a family but it never occured to her of how close he was to them. She had expected to be found and pulled into a loving embrace and live with just him. This turned things around a bit and she was literally frozen to the spot.

Tori sighed as she gently pulled Ayala back. "Now was the right time, eventually, all in all... I knew this would happen.." Her gently embrace shielded Ayala from the harsh reality of her new life. ~~~~
Katrina smiled softly at Ahren as he approached, but narrowed angrily at Ayala and Tori. She would NOT share her father with anyone.. ever. They were a happy family, she would not succumb to a bastard and her mother.

Syrenia closed her eyes tightly and rest her cheek against her daughter's head before releasing her from the hug. Breaking from the small crowd that had formed on the 'stage' like platform now, she shifted, deep azure eyes filled with pain. How could this have happened? How could any of this possibly be happening? It seemed so surreal, so painfully surreal.
Moving to the front of the platform, she cleared her throat, before adressing everyone in a liquid voice, captivatingly soothing. "Enough!" A command of sorts, pleading for the silence, and calm of the pandemonium that was breaking out. "It is I that you are putting up to death, and no one else." Her voice was beautiful, but filled with strength. With power. Clenching her jaw, and blinking foreward behind a poised facade of calm she continued. "I am grateful, my dear friends; my beloved family, that you have all come, and put yourself in harms way..." She paused briefly. "But it is not the way that it must be." She lifted her arms, gesturing to the place they stood in and around. "Look, look at this place- once, one it was beautiful, and blissfully ignorant to the bloodshed that has become a morbid commonality to us." She shook her head. "A war is bearing down on us, and losses are of many as of late. To kill more than I, on this eve; does it make sense? To any of you? Why are we deminishing our own ranks? Lycans, you need to stand united; strong against our enemies, not destroying one another with such eagerness!" Now, he bell like voice held a soft acceptance to it. "If you do not see me fit to lead you through this, I will take this bloody execution. But, do not call me a traitor."
Fluidly, she moved toward the risen part of the platform. As she went, she gently placed a hand on Alura's shoulder and smiled gently, her eyes teary. The two embraced one another, and Syrenia whispered something into Alura's ear. The shiftress' eyes widened and the tears that had filled ehr eyes freed themselves.
Next, she placed a hand upon Lemartes' shoulder, and nodded to him. "You've always been a friend Lemartes. Take care." She murmured gently before moving back to Katrina and Lupus.
She embraced her familly, and placed akiss upon Katrina's brow. "Rina, I love you. I love you my daughter. I always have... Please, never give up. Ever." She gave her daughter a tight squeeze before kissing Lupus lovingly. She closed her eyes and sighed shakily. "I love you Lupus. I love you." She inhaled his scent before moving away from her family and standing upon the risen part of the platform.
Alura's attention was pulled completely from Aaron and Aurora as Syrenia moved to the front of the platform, and the hate within melted into confusion. Silently, she listened, heart wrenching in ehr chest as she listened to the resigned alphess speak. Balling her hands into fists against her sides, the shiftress closed her watery eyes as her dear friend continued adressing everyone.
When the speech was over, and Syrenia came to her side, Alura's deep eyes filled with tears anew. Syrenia placed her hand upon Alura's shoulder, and the shifter had to bite her lip to keep from crying out. She embraced her dear friend tightly and exhailed shakily. Alura was about to break from the embrace when Syrenia whispered in her ear. "Jake is in trouble; He needs help. Save him."
Syrenia released her, and Alura felt like her heart had shattered. Her two dearest friends, were in life threatening if not ending situations. Her insides knotted up, and she felt asif she would puke.
Aurora watched the scene unfold with dark navy eyes of sorrow. She really did feel pitty for the creature, for the other Lycan. She folded her hands together and hung her head sadly. Were they bringing about the death of a leader, and not a traitor? She swallowed and shook her head, guilt bubbling in the pit of her stomach.

(Isn't sure how to continue....-
Lupus turned with her, his eyes strong and determined. "Syrenia, you brought me back into this world because you couldn't live without me. I left this world once, as was my right. Now that you are leaving me, I have no other reason to be on this earth. If you leave, I leave with you. If you refuse, I shall wait until you are dead to kill myself. You will, and cannot argue with me." he growled, daring her to refuse.
Ayala nodded, backing away with Tori. When her father began to speak, she gasped and yelled, "NO!" she shouted, rushing forward.
Lupus snarled at her. "Silence, Ayala!" he snapped. He turned back to Syrenia. "What say you, my love?" he asked her, much more kindly.

Crissy and Allyssa moved with Syrenia to her doomed fate, each resting an hand on her shoulders as they closed their eyes and began a prayer in ancient tongue. Tears were falling freely down their cheek's as they did so.
As they finished their walk, they released the woman, opening blurred eyes. As Crissy kept her gazr upon Syrenia, pulling the woman into one last hug, her sister had narrowed her eyes on another. Wraith.
The growl that ripped from her throat was violent and enraged. "Wraith." She seethed, knowing damn well he could hear her. Why was he here? If he didn't want to be banished to Hell with spirits like himself, he would answer her without complaint.
~~
Katrina glared at the wolves around her as her mother began her walk of doom. Upon her mothers gentle kiss, she began to sob violently, and it worsened as Lupus offered himself. She held Ahren tightly, burrying her face in his broad chest. Through her mixed anger and sadness, she heard Ayala's voice, crying out to Lupus as if he meant something to her.
Rage filled her, and before she knew it, she was racing towards the girl, rage burning behind her eyes as she tackled her. Her body began to morph as she snapped and tore and growled, itching to get as much of Ayala into her mouth as she could. Her rage wanted out, and Ayala was her new outlet.
~~
Tori's eyes were sad as she watched Syrenia move on. Syrenia had been her prized selection for the throne. Since the Werewolf nation had begun to exsist, it was her that those the bloodline that would follow, and her that decided Syrenia would retain the throne after Lupus's death. And now they were going to kill her.
The cold air that swept through the place sharpened as snow began to fall, Tori's own form of tears. Releasing her daughter, she moved after the woman. As Crissy finished her hug, she took Syrenia by the shoulders, her ears fading out everyone but the two.
The glass-like ice that began to form around the two of them, cutting them off from everyone around them, faded as soon as it came, revealing an empty field of snow, the only two living things herself and Syrenia. "Syrenia. Peace be with you, my dear. It is not your time. Your future has yet to be ful lfilled, please, allow someone to help you. The throne is lost for now, but not forever. Your race needs you to live.."
She told Syrenia these things in up most privacy, willing her to understand if she could. She needed to know this, and she needed to know the risks involved with knowing even this little bit of the future.
The event's of Katrina and Ayala were lost to them as they released the world around them, standing and talking in Tori's own version of Heaven. Syrenia, the first living creature to ever arrive. The first, and last living creature to ever arrive. ~~ Aaron's eyes narrowed as he felt the suden shift in his wife, her head hanging. His eyes flashed as Tori and Syrenia slowly vanished.
Pulling his mate close to him, her squeezed her, tightly trying to force the breath from her while keeping her alive. He never was patient.. He never really was kind either.. Rather violent actually.. Yet thats not to say Aurora didn't know how to work him to get her way, such a great pair..
"Aurora.. Do not make this difficult, or you will not like the ending...I do not wish to mar such a beautiful face, this you know, but I will not, I WILL NOT jeopardize our right to that damn throne. Perk up and get over it." He demanded quietly in her ear, his voice dripping with malice.
~~
Ashina held Alex tightly, but her face brightened as Tori intervened. "Tori is trying to reason with her.... Can you see her? Are they gone? Let's pray so... If Syrenia wills herself to live, Tori will hide her in her heaven.... We need Syrenia to will herself to live!" She whispered tightly.

Time seemed to slow for Ayala as her eyes shifted to the moving form of Katrina. She felt her heart stop with sudden fear and her eyes widen. She was a violent person in nature. She had only once transformed and it had taken all of her energy. Now that Katrina, her half sister, was attackig her, she felt she needed to do something.
She closed her eyes as Katrina fell onto her, fangs bared. She felt herself morphing, becoming the creature of her nightmares. Felt the fangs erupt from her mouth into a muzzle and felt six inch claws take up most her hands. Soot colored fur erupted all over her skin and her bones broke and regrew bigger, in different directions than normal.
Time sped back up and a snarl erupted from her throat as she met Katrina, beast vs. beast.
Ahren grabbed at air as Katrina dove, his mouth hanging open, ready to scream her name. There was no reason for fighting here! This wasn't the time for fighting! But he couldn't bring himself to yell. If she turned on him, he wouldn't be able to protect himself. He couldn't transform at will.

The primal voice that spoke his name almost startled Wraith. Almost, that is. Glancing over his shoulder at the woman who glared at him so spitefully he merely smiled and shrugged before replying with a quiet answer. “A shame as it is, your friend’s impending death is none of my doing. I’m just here to let her know that there is someone else in peril at the moment. And though he is of your kind, I doubt you know of him, Priestess. Enjoy the main event while you’re here.” Having said that he made his way into the crowd without another word. But before leaving completely he whispered a brief message to Alura’s thoughts, letting the distressed female know where to find her friend after her business was done here. And as he finally departed from the sorrowful scene, he gave one last devilish grin to Crissy as his being disappeared off into the night, headed towards town.
Lemartes huffed briskly after Syrenia’s farewell and smirked. “I could hardly call myself a friend if all I do is stand here and watch.” The once proud shifter’s expression was now etched with lines of worry, but he knew trying to interfere would only cause more harm in this delicate situation. Hands curled up into fists as Syrenia walked away from him. Indeed, he couldn’t even look at her out of his own shame of being unable to do anything now. And as his weary eyes drifted over to his wife, he felt even more depressed. Stepping behind her he wrapped his arms around Alura’s waist to try and support her emotionally. For her sake, he would not shed any tears right now. His cheek pressed lightly against hers, but words failed him. He wanted to say that everything would be alright. But right now, he didn’t believe it himself.
Alex’s embrace around Ashina was also tight, but it was more so to help the female’s worries settle. As a neko, he had little business with werewolves. But even he could see that what was conspiring here was terribly, terribly wrong. Still seated with his companion in the relative safety of a tree, he draped his coat over Ashina’s small form before speaking. “Mm. If she herself lacks the will to live, not one of us will be able to save her, even if we were to stop the execution. There is nothing we can do for her now if Syrenia is content to retire herself from living.”

Beast -v- Beast was an understatement. Katrina was ravaging the girl, she wanted blood and and a dead body, and she would get it one way or another. Everything was going wrong.. All of it..
At first, things had been easy.. Lupus, herself, and Syrenia.. One happy family.. Then her fathers death.. IT all went downhill from their.. Next that damn wolf showed up and stole her mothers heart, attempting to take the throne. IT was then Katrina had left for the vampires.. Love brought her back. Love.. Or Hate... Lets go with Love. Love brought Lupus back, albeit the deceitful sisters helped.. Then it was the three again.. But Syrenia seemed to distant.. Now this..
Then this bitch of a girll. This bastard pup wanted to waltz in? Hell no.. HELL no.. Katrina did NOT share her family, not anymore.. How dare Tori bring her here.. How dare Tori admit to having the girl.. Katrina would kill Ayala if she got the chance, and now would be it.
Her body began to break, her bones shifting in unnateral movements. Black fur whipped down her body in violent ripples. Her eyes were filled with tears. Morphing did not hurt her. Her memories hurt her. As scream ripped out from her muzzled, shifting into a howl as fur finally met fur. Teeth met teeth as muzzles clashed and claws drew blood. Ayala was new at this. Katrina was well experienced in fights. Her rage built her fury until Lupus and Syrenia had to both aid in calming her, which was not an easy thing to do. They would not aid now.. Syrenia was on death row.. Her father was aiding her mother.
Katrina was quick and fast in her lashing out, and she aimed for throat, face, stomach, and legs.

Ayala was defaintly not experienced. She's announce it to the world if she could but at the moment, her mouth was full of Katrina's fur. She didn't even know what part of her body she held. They were complete opposites. Katrina was wild and strong and black fur made her seem superior and hard to mess with. While Ayala's white fur and sensative and kind nature was hardly the fighting type. The only thing that came naturally was to protect her soft spots at her belly and throat. She was on the defence and losing strength quick. What had she done? Why was the heir to the werewolf throne attacking her? She didn't care if they were sisters, she didn't care about the throne. She had only come her to see and meet her father who had promised her everything.

A yelp escaped Katrina's mouth as Ayala's teeth closed in on a section of fur on her side. It tore a rather angry, rather new growl from her mouth. It shook her slightly as it echoed around them.
Silence seemed to take the area around them execution as time seemed to slow itself. Katrina's actions were merely blurs to her as she seemed to watch from the sidelines. Someone needed to intervene. She could feel Ayala losing strength beneath her, and she would draw that last breath now if Katrina could make her.
As Ayala's teeth cut further into her skin, causing a deep crimson color to mingle with her fur around the bite, Katrina curved her boyd, attempting to rip herself from Ayala's grasp. Her body twist as her back claws began to dig at Ayala's belly. Her Large front claws wrapped around Ayala's arm, shredding and grinding. Her teeth met Ayala's face, her large jaw wrapping around the others jaw, biting down, her abject to crush Ayala's jaw completely.

The pain she felt all over caused spots to appear in her eyes and the sides of her eyes grew dark. She's pass out from pain. She fought back as hard as she could, tasting the bitter taste of blood in her life as she tore into her side, her back legs kicking aganist her front chest.
Ahren had enough of this. He lept off the podium into the chaos, bracing bites and scratches as he tackled Katrina and held her down, morphing into a werewolf as soon as he claws raked his sides. His reddish orange body pushed her into the ground. He was a lot stronger than she was by just being male.

Katrina was outraged. How dare he stand up for that bastard pup! She fought against him, ripping and tearing at his flesh the best she could. She couldn't get her muzzle close enough to his vitals, but she could do plenty of damage with her free back claws and snapping muzzle. Ahren would not be forgiven for this. She growled viciously at him.

Ahren snarled at her, putting a paw on her muzzle, pushing her head back aganist the ground. "I'm still on your side, Katrina!" he snapped. "You were killing her! I had to get you to stop! She's done nothing wrong so killing her would earn your death!" he snarled, tail lashing viciously.
Ayala was gasping for air a few feet away, layind on the ground, her shirt ripped and a bloody gaping wound on her stomach. She was horrible pale and was trying to keep her eyes open.
"Can someone find her help?" he snarled to the surrounding crowd, still holding down Katrina.

Katrina was fighting against him, inching further towards Ayala. She wanted the girl dead. "She is the bastard pup of the king! She deserves death! " she growled. Her fury wanted Ayala dead.. And then Lupus.. She loved him and hated him for this.. She growled viciously, her muzzle opening and snapping shut around Ahren's paw.

Ahren snarled when she bit him but he didn't seem fazed. "This is not how we go about it!" he snarled. "You are not a beast! You are civilized and of royal blood! This is not how we go about ridding the world of people we don't like!" he snarled.
He turned his head around, eyes balzing dangerously. "Get out of here!" he snarled at Ayala. "Before I kill you myself!"
Ayala gasped, stumbled to her feet, dripping blood on the ground, and disspered into the crowd.

Katrina's yell of rage morphed into a howl as she tore furiously at his arm, attempting to shred it entirely. She wanted him gone, out of the way. Her min clouded as the instincts of the beast she was began to consume her. Ahren was no longer Ahren in her mind, just something blocking her way. She lunged for his throat as he turned to yell at Ayala. Her eyes became solid black and her grip on his forearms intensified.

Ahren snarled viciously and did the only thing that was reasonable in his mind. He attacked back. HIs snarl ripped through his chest and his fangs sunk themselves deep into the soft flesh of her chest, one paw attempting to hold down her head. He knew this wasn't the correct way to go about things but the only way to get her to stop was to attack back.

A yelp of pain escaped her muzzle as his teeth sunk into her chest. Her eyes spilled crimson as she fought back against the pain. They say mental pain is far worse than physical, because it never heals. Katrina was feeling them both at once. It crippled her. Her body morphed until she was a mere woman again, Ahrens muzzle currently tearing into her chest. Crimson was spoiling her satin skin, and her eyes were glazing.

((GAH!!! I've ruined it!!! Their love!))
Ahren pulled away as soon as she turned human, panting heavily. He whined in a sorry way and hung his head. He wasn't upset about what he did because it had been the only way to stop her. To stop her killing an innocent person. They'd would execution her if she had killed her. He laid down next to her, resting his muzzle on ehr stomach with his ears back and whine erupting from his mouth.
