The woman angry slammed her fist down on the table in front of the many vampires and fallen angels. "Thats enough! You all know me, or ta least have seen me at the Den. My name is Keera and I wont take this crap anymore. Im tired of the inexperience most of you have, and im tired of the lycans walking over us like dirt!" The many eyes gleamed with intesne hatred ta the topic of the every hated lycans. Many glasses lcinked togather and many shouts were heard, applauding her. "It is time we did something about this! Stop lagging around! Get you butts out of the safety of this place and out in the world! Get to training!" She yelled angrily. Her fist slammed down again. she was tired of these vampires and fallen angels thinking they were good enoug to fight..they werent. Wit that, she stormed from the room, slamming the door behind her.

Leaning against a wall in the back, Adrias said nothing as he watched Keera storm off... With his arms folded across his chest, he silently observed the crowd, picking out the ones whom he deemed as an actual threat. Ah good, not a lot of them after all. Keera was right, they did need to train...
Sipping on a glass of blood, he relished the taste of it, but loathed the fact that it was a little cold. The commoners never did get the best pick... But, that was to be expected from a corrupt race. Even the fallen angels seemed rather hostile to his kind, only showing kindness when they wanted something.

She slammed her back against a wall in the empty hallway, causing one of the paintings to fall and crash. She rolled hr eyes and looked at it. She knew alot of people hated her in there, but they knew she was right. Besides, what did she care if they hated her...The mean tnothing. they were but her pawns. She noticed Adrias had been in the back, which made her growl. What was he up to? She woudl find out..one way or another.

Glancing at the side wall as it shuddered, Adrias was keen to note that was the direction Keera had disappeared to... She seemed rather upset about something. His presence there? Probably. He wouldn't doubt it. Adrias knew she had a fancy for breaking new recruits, but fortunately for him, chances were he wasn't even going to fight in their petty little war...

Deciding to head on out, Adrias exited the room, and was suprised to find Keera still out in the hallway. Best to act polite, he figured. Giving her a pleasant nod as he passed her, he wondered what was going on in her mind at the moment. More importantly, would their paths cross later on with more dangerous circumstances?

Growling angrily as he passed she turned his way. "Wait...I want to ask you something.." She said gently, her bad mood gone as she looked at him with a gentle face, twirling hair around her finger gently.

Pausing as per her request, Adrias raised a brow and scanned her expression. There wasn't much he could read, and he found it wasted effort. "Yes, what is it, Mistress Keera?" What would she want to know from him? Chances were Keera knew more then he did... She was in a high position after all.

"Why are you here?" Her good mood gone, just like that as she glared at him.She didn tlike to be played, nor did she like her friend being played. Melody had enough to deal with.

With a light smile, he shrugged. "A few cups of blood. Is there something about my presence that disturbs you? I assure you that I mean no harm. I am just seeking shelter before the storm hits..." And by storm he meant the war. "If you are uncomfortable with me being here, I will take my leave..."

On the contrary, she wanted him to stay so she could watch him. "You are of little concern for me, however, there is Melody..What do you want with her?" she growled.

"Melody?" Raising an eyebrow, he smirked and folded his arms across his chest. "I wish her well if that's what you mean... As far as I am concerned, she doesn't even have to look at me if she doesn't want to. Why do you ask?"

"Just watch yourself." she looked at him...suprisingly..He looked good with the light on him like that. Raising a brow at him she folded her arms. "Which side do you plan on joining?" she asked him.

With a understanding nod, he smiled. "I see... Very well then. These are fragile times, I know. Lady Melody seems to be very busy as of late, too. I will do my best to not cause much of a stir." As for the sides question, he chuckled softly and started to turn away. "Either way I see it, chances are I'm going to die for a nation that doesn't even give a ____ about my existance..."

She nodded. "Smarter than you look." She said coldly. She would get to know him...eventually. He might be a good ally if all else goes wrong...yet she couldnt trust him and she knew it.

Pausing mid way in his turn, Adrias glanced back at Keera with a knowing smile. "You give me far too much credit... But, if you would like a more direct answer to your question, allow me to say this." He knew as well that at this point, Keera or anyone else couldn't be trusted. At least not yet... "Please, do not patronize me and try to weave lies in front of my face... It dissuades me from supporting my own kind. How can I fight for someone I cannot trust?"
It was as simple as that. Whoever had his trust had his skills in battle. If no one came to achieve it, he would stand on his own. So far though, the only person who remotely had his trust was Syrenia. And with the actions of her minions, Adrias was beginning to lose faith in the werewolf. "There is even a chance that I will be gone from these lands before the war comes, too... If you plan on getting rid of me though, I suggest that you do it quickly."

"On the contrary." She said gently, her voice wrapping around him like a snake. She took a few steps foward and a gently hand touched his cheek, taking his chin gently and facing him towards her."I wouldnt dream of getting rid of you myself, you hav done no wrong to me...But if you enter these halls smelling lightly of wolf again, someone else may want to." She smiled gently as her gentle hand released his chin, touching his cheek lightly again. "You have dirt on your cheek." she said disgusted before shaking her head and walking to the stairs, headed for her rooms.

Just what was Keera after? And why did she have such an intrest in him? He said nothing about the wolf comment, and only smiled politely. However as she started to leave, he raised a brow and turned to face her fully. "What is it that you want from me, Keera? I have yet to see you treat others with the careful attention you have given me..." Was she worried that he'd defect to the werewolves? Well, it was possible... But he guessed that she was just messing with him again.

Keera turned halfway up the stairs and laughed. "Because, Monsuier Adrias, You are more advanced than most of these idiots. But dont flatter yourself, you hardly get more attention." walking up the rest of the stairs she turned back. "Oh, and because its fun." She laughed bitterly before disappearing down the hall to slip into her room.

Well, that really wasn't the answer Adrias was expecting... But perhaps he should have, for he was trying to converse with a fallen angel... When she was gone, his eye started to twitch a little, a sign of more then just irritation. With each day that passed, it looked like to him that he'd be siding with the lycans soon enough. An act that would no doubt enrage Keera and Melody, but why should he care?
Turning away, he headed for the exit with a scowl. "Heh... So be it, Keera..."

Keera turned to a mirror in her room, sliping the bandage from her face. She looked so elegant with her eyes uncovered...but it wasnt her choice. Adrias filled her thougts again. She knew that was only part of the reason she took special intrest. No, something inside was telling her to, but she didnt know what. She figured he would side with the lycans, which was part of the reason the bugged him so. She wanted to fight him, but she needed a reason first.

With a heavy sigh, he glanced at a portrait of a vampire killing a lycan, trying to redirect his focus. Calming down as he studied the picture, he recalled his own troubles with werewolves back when he had spoken to Syrenia. But, as the alpha female believed, there were exceptions to every race. Derailing his train of thought, he shook his head and went back into the dining room, grabbing another glass of blood for himself.

Hearing her stomach growl she dismissed it. T\Dropping down on her bed she staired at her ceiling in utter dissmay. The dark side races were far too small...She needed to recruit a great many...or at lkeast train the ones she had to a higher standard..

Several people had asked him about his questionable scent, and Adrias simply told them that he had been out hunting werewolves earlier in the night. Of course, like the blood thirsty dolts they were, most of them accepted the story. But for the non believers, he simply smiled at them and said, "If you doubt my words, I can take you to the site where I killed them..." Of course, adding in a deathly sincere tone, and a hint of anticipation in his eyes, the rest just went along with the story, not wanting to bother him.

She stood and exited her room, her stomach driving her to do so. She yawned gently as she walked down the stairs and into the large room, grabbing her cup.hissing at a passing vamp for fresh blood, he quickly ran out doing as told.

Watching the vampire scurry about, he rolled his eyes. He thought Keera was still up in her room... Oh well. As his tradition, he leaned back against a wall and silently observed the others, taking note of who seemed to be the largest threat. Keera was on top of the list of course, although he couldn't see her at the moment he knew she was nearby.

Keera turned and faced the direction Adrias was in. She moved swiftly and gently towards him, her eyes burning with anger. "So tell me, what is it exactgly you are looking for here?" She said to him as she settled into a chair near his, Facing the crowd.

Lilith was a seductress. Anyone that knew her would agree that she was always at the top of her game, and although men knew exactally the way she was, they still lined up to be a trinket on her arm. Sadly enough for them, she moved on once she was bored; and she got bored freequently.
Her black silk dress clung to her well defined feminine curves, lurning... Taunting. But the magnificent fit hadn't been enough for her.... No, The neck line dropped well into the valley between her breasts and the tears at the bottom traced seductively up her brilliantly sculpted thighs. Her hair was pulled sexily into a loose up style, that left strands hanging down onto her shoulders and back.
She had a sultry look in her slate grey eyes as she entered the room where Keera and Adrias were and raised a fine brow to her leader as she caught the slightest scent of lycan on the vampire. A smooth smile spread itself on her lips as she strode a few paces closer to Keera before stopping and giving ehr close friend a short and intreiuged look.

Not liking the fact the Keera had come sauntering over against, Adrias swore in his thoughts... What did she want this time? And what was with that look in her eyes? Women... "I'm suprised you even bother to ask, Ms. Keera... A person of your status usually doesn't have to raise a finger to get what they want..." Giving her ideas? He didn't care. He'd be out the door in a heartbeat if she tried to kill him.
Pausing as an aluring piece of eye candy walked in, he cleared his throat and looked away. Pelasures of the flesh... A very dangerous thing, he knew. Best to keep an eye on this one, too...

Keera heard her approach .b]"This is Adrias."[/b] She said gently, facing him."He seems to be having trouble which side to choose."She said to her, her voice full of question as she looked at her friend, a slight nod to her, once her face was out of Adrias's sight. "Maybe you should talk to him." Her voice full of wonder as she left the two, heading for her rooms.
