She didn't walk along the numerous bushes, nor was she really near a rose. Zenobia merely stood with her parasol gribbed firmly in her hands.
She vaguely cursed under her breath. Those princes seemed so naieve. Snorting, she looked to the sky. No moon shone tonight. It was a new moon, the birthing of a new month. The vampriss looked away, shaking her head.
"God, why must I be cursed with this?" she hissed hoarsely. "To walk the night like a mangey cat, never to see the dawning of a day?" She turned away, anger gurgling in her stomach. For a woman like herself, she was bitter. Born a vampire. She never knew of the warm colours that comforted the mortals. In fact, she rather would've died than live an endless life of drinking blood.
Zenobia turned and began to calmly stride along the bushes. No, her hair did not ripple. She in fact was not a remarkable beauty. Merely a girl that wished that she could be free of the terrors she gave to others.
A rustling of wings, and a fallen angel had settled beside her.
"Zen?" his gruff voice arose.
"What is it, Gabriel?" the vampire growled.
"Thought you could use some company."
"I don't need company." she replied bitterly.
"Everyone needs someone." The angel persisted, crossing his arms. "You need someone, like I need Keila...." he frowned.
"Your little girl is nearly due. Why don't you visit HER?"
"Because. She can survive without me. Keith said so himself."
"And since when do you listen to what he says?"
"Since he began telling the truth." Gabriel's gaze turned to the roses. "I can't be with her forever. I'll be long gone before her time."
"We're vampires. We don't know the meaning of time."
"Fourth dimension."
"I wasn't being literal." Zenobia sneered, walking away.
"Boo hoo." the fallen hid his wings and followed her. "One day, Zenobia, you'll realize that you're just a miserable witch, desperate for company."
"I already know that I'm miserable!"
"I know, too."
"Gabriel, go home."
"I have no home."
"Well, go and find Keila. She'll be eating me alive if she catches me with you."
"Whatever." Gabriel rolled his eyes. "She's not gonna mind."
"With them mood swings, she isn't."
"And you wonder why I escaped the cave...."
"Scared?"
"Of course. A moody vampire is never good." The fallen angel walked to a bush, plucking a rose off of it's stem and smiling.
"Besides, I can't be a father. It would be just too weird."
"A killer and a father. I guess I could agree." Zenobia shrugged.
(Need some peeps in here! Since I was gone, I got removed from the whole picture, so, I need a roleplay. >_<)
