Red flashed vibrantly in the rising light as the golden building was cast in it's warm glow. Green eyes were angry as they rested on the trembling creature before her.

Red hair fell in loose waves down the femaled back, fading towards a purple color in her bangs. Two metal piercings in her lower lip glinted in the light as emerald green eyes narrowed. Her skin had a soft fade to it, as if her color had simply been brushed on without defining lines, where did her beauty end and the world begin?

Black nails fell in a repeated pattern on her arm as she tapped her fingers, waiting for the trembling boy in front of her to finish his statement. "I...I'm sorry Elle, I tried, really I did!" With an angry growl, the boy skitted away, fleeing from her side.

Her smooth hands clenched into fists as she pounded one into the wall beside her. She hated life at this moment. It wasn't fair. Authority was something she was going to have to end... Soon..

Her issue? She had been banned from leaving the grounds until further notice. Something about buildings being burned and footprints of animals unrecognizable to most immortal eyes. Unusual deaths of well known human figure. It was a big mess. Had she done it? Hell yes. She had been pissed. One of her boy toys, hers, she does NOT share, had been caught fooling around with another chick. In her room. In HER bed.. That bitch was even in HER lingerie. She had the right to be pissed. HEr rage didn't end with the death of two vampires, the ass toy and his whore, oh no.. She had to further it. Now her rage was back.

A pair of deep, liquid honey eyes shimmered with amusement as Elle's enraged voice reverberated through the hallway. Someone was playing russian roulette- but she had the gun, and all of the bullets.

Striding foreward with a deadly sexy swagger, he continued toward the source of her voice. He was a 'peacekeeper' within these walls, if you would; So breath-takingly attractive that he could make anyone forget their woes. It was said he could even turn straight men gay. Muscles rippling with each distinct movement of his sculpted body he glanced into the open door of the room Elle stood within.

Moving to the door frame, he wrapped his knuckles against the stone entry-way, standing upon it's thresh-hold. Of course, he really needen't ask permission to enter, he found it.. polite. Moving his head slightly, tilting it to face her, he offered a sympathetic look. "I told you the bastard would fuck up.." He chided a sexy smirk flirting at his lips.

Sharp green eyes turned onto that rigged face, attempting to burn holes into that perfect face. "Shut up Khaz.." She growled, turning away from him. His presence did wonders for her temper. Hell, he did wonders period. She fluxuated between anger and lust when he was around, and it pissed her off.

Taking a deep breath, and turned, her hair flaring out around her like a flame, framing her rather stunning face, illuminating those captivating emerald eyes. Sucking her piercings in ant out of her mouth, she looked him over, her temper slowly cooling.

"Since your ohsosmart and all knowing, why not figure out a way to get me out of this hell hole? I hate being trapped her, dammit.. And you know it.." She growled, finally slinking away from the wall, her hips swaying gently as she moved closer to him. He wasn't wearing a shirt again. Yummy.

Her fingernails traced those muscles with apprehension, however nothing but sex channeled from her to him. Finally ending her two-finger parade up his expose chest, she let her fingers brushed his chin, then his cheek before she moved past him and out into the hallway.

Michael was keenly aware of her mood when she called him by his middle name. Khaz. But from her lips, he didn't care. He tilted his head slightly, giving his body more of the light from her room, accenting it's angular form.

He raised his brows as she approached him and poised her question. Of course he could get her out of the palace. He'd been escaping and finding excuses since he arrived. He'd only been kept her with a longing for revenge on the bastard who killed his little brother, and once that was done, it was syinara baby good-bye. He sighed softly and blinked at her. But, did he want to release her? Out there he could not see her, feel her energy.. feel her? No, she would go back to her 'toys' and for reasons that he couldn't decide, it... annoyed? Bothered him. "Yeah. Of course I can get you out, is there anything I can't do?" He smiled cockily, his smouldering eyes amused.

"I'm thinking, 5'9 twenty year old blonde, brown eyes, no piercings." He'd sneak her out as one of his cohorts... One of his many cohorts, but this one, herritte, was one of his favorites. She was so apprehensive, and so.. indescribably detached. It was a good thing they had going, just sex, nothing more. That was all he wanted from her.. but Ella. He blinked at the woman who stood before him, with her fire hair and bright eyes of emerald and blinked. But what? What did he want from her that no other woman could give? stuck his tongue in his cheek while in thought. He wanted to be the only man in her life, though the chances of that were slim, to none. He wanted to wait on her beck and whim. He wanted to give her pleasures that she had never before recieved.

He was brought back by the sensation of her nails against his mucles. He raised a brow and blinked down at her, though their hieght difference wasn't substancial, it was nessicary. He smiled softly when she let ehr fingers touch his cheek. And, just as sudden as the motion had been, it ended, and she slunk into the hallway. He turned, deep golden eyes wary, and moved into the hall.

Herritte flashed across her minds eye as he described her. Oh how she hated the blonde. Whether Michael knew it - an he probably didn't- or not, Herritte and Ella had never gotten along. The blonde, was so irritating.. So ignorant.. Arrogant when Michael wasn't around.. The two shifters had gotten in quite a few rather violent fights. Alura and Lemartes knew this. Hell, they had broken them up.

Ella couldn't suppress the growl in her voice as she spoke. "Them hell do we need her for? If your implying I dress like her, hell no. HELL no.. I wouldn't degrade myself so much." Obviously if he knew, he has forgotten the animosity that followed the two when they were around each other.

Her arms folded roughly as she stalked back toward him. Leaving less than a few inches between them, her eyes looked up into his. His eyes were golden. It was rare on his face. It made him look much more handsome than sexy. She preferred it.

Michael? Boy toy? Never. Hell, she'd never even slept with him. Not like she didn't want to, but for Ella it was hard to decide if she wanted to for reasons other than the fact her was a male. It was a tough decision. Anyways. Michael would never be a boy toy of hers. She just couldn't see him as such. Now, don't get me wrong, she was still extremely territorial over him when he wasn't around. Bummer she didn't believe in love. Or a one-man relationship.

Michael did not know of the hatred between the two women, though had been suspicious of their disdain when he introduced them. Truly, he wasn't in the palace often, and what his ladies did after he bedded them, he didn't know or care. But, judging Ella's resction to his words, perhaps he should.

He blinked at her, his deep golden eyes filled with a soothing, chiding expression. Oh, He would deal with that blonde after this. If she did something to make Ella this way.. He stopped mid thought, catching himself in a paradoxal position. He did not want to dedicate himself to this woman. Especially when he knew she wouldn't. He frowned momentarily, but played it off on her reaction, gently placing a hand on her cheek. "Ah, mon querida..." His voice flowed like a thick caramel through teh air as he spoke the gentle spanish word for dear one (He uses it quite oftenly with her and others) "...I did not mean you any harm, if that is what you took from.. that; I am sorry." He allowed his thumb to trace the hollow of her pale, beautiful face. "I mean only that she is a familliar face around here, not under lock-down, and I could get you out of her without any question." He chided gently, trying to soothe her raw nerves.

He slowly removed his gentle, hand from her face and blinked at her, gold eyes like pools of dark sunlight.

Ella's eyes flashed at his touch. No one touched her, ever, without her instigating it. Why she let him do it now, was a mystery to her.

As his thumb stroked her cheek, her eyes closed for a moment, her face gently snuggling his hand. It was warm. Her body tingled with a new sensation, but her head suddenly felt cold, empty, and painful.

Of all the men she had been with (and there had been many) none had ever attempted to show any sign of true caring, love almost. True enough, they had stroked her cheek, an many other things, but none had ever done it with affection. With true affection. It made her ache for it. Made her ache to fill a hole she never knew existed.

His removal of his hand startled her, causing her to jerk ever so lightly before blinking up at him. She shook her head gentle. "I can not degrade myself to that whores level." whore? Is that not what she was? Ha. Call her whore to her face and I guarantee you won't do it again.

"Why not Naime?" She asked, referring to the slim brunette that always had a book and her glasses in her hand. She was sweet. One of the few people Ella could actually stand.

When she blinked up at him, and their eyes met, a shock soared through him. Electricity, pure electricity. He drew in a long breath of air and slowly exhailed before watching her shake her head. 'that whore's level' He smiled softly at her words and blinked at her, deep liquid topaz eyes shimmering with laughter. Ella definately despised Herritte, and for some reason, he liked that. "No, certainly not. You're far better than her." He agreed softly, before smiling and looking away from her briefly.

He looked back when she mentioned his brilliant Naime, the librarian-esque woman. He nodded slowly and smiled before turning slowly, to walk down the hall. His hand brushed hers. His heart quickened a bit at the accedential touch, but he brushed it off and notioned for her to follow him. "..We'd better get a move on it.." He murmured softly before stopping. "..I guess you'll have to act like Naime too.. To pull this off." He said softly before glancing down the hallway, making sure no-one was coming.

Ella glanced at him with curiosity as he looked away after agreeing with her, but she shook it off for her own sake. As he smiled at Naime's mention, she couldn't help but cringe ever so slightly at the sudden stab of jealous that rocketed through hr body. What was wrong with her? damn... It was times like this girlfriends came in handy....sucks she preferred men.

Getting back to the task at hand, and shoving all real thoughts of Michael. If he was able to spring her, perhaps she would explore these new feelings. Alone. In a different place... Away...From..Here...

"I can pull of Naime.... I think.." She stuttered under her own breath. Taking a deep breath, she let her famous mischevious grin flash across her face before she covered it with a all-knowing, gentle look. Puffing her chest out (which was slightly unneccesairy...), she pushed her shoulders back tossed her hair over her shoulders before striding down the hall. Naime was tall, Ella...Not so much... She had to stretch to match Naime's stride. Stumbling, she laughed gently before spinning around to face Michael again. Her hair fell in waves in front of her face, sheilding her as she spoke again. "Perhaps we need someone more my height....." she giggled gently, flashing a smile.

Michale smiled and nodded thoughtfully, his eyes alive with laughter at her humorous antics. Shifting his deep golden gaze he murmured something under his breath, and grinned. "Lyra." He nodded. The red-haired girl with bright amber eyes. She, was quite the... woman. He smiled at Ella, and thought silently about the contrast and similarities of their persona's. Honestly, they were fairly similar in behavior.. Which led him to question: Had he been copy-cat dating girls who reminded him of Ella?

Frowning slightly, he shook his head. No. That, simply would not happen.

Blinking at Stella, he awaited her response.

"Hm... Lyra?" She mused over the girl. She ha no ongoing conflict with the woman.. Jealousy maybe... It seemed Lyra shared Michale's bed more than he others... A place that should be hers.....

No..Wait.... She had no feelings for Michale...Well shit.. Apparently she had been. Seething under the surface seemed highly unlikely, but so easily done... Great....

"Lyra.. I like her. Thats fine. Shall we get going then??" She asked, prodding his stomach with her fingertips. She wanted out...

Michael watched her muse and found himself studying her. The utter beauty of her being. Her pallid, creamy skin, bright fire hued hair, feral emeralds for eyes. Yet she was going to shift? He bit his lower lip and furrowed his brows, wondering what idiocy a higher power would have to have to make such perfection able to change form.

Surprised by his thoughts, he shook himself and straightened, looking at Ella with an indeterminate expression. She was not to be coveted. Not to be contained, and wanting her to be his- no, wanting to be hers seemed unrealistic. He shifted his weight onto the heels of his feet while she pondered, about what, he hadn't the slightest.

When she'd concluded that Lyra was acceptable, he looked up from his clasped hands and chuckled softly as she proded his stomach with her fingers. The feeling of the apendages against his toned body made his muscles tense. It had been a while. Perhaps once Ella was back with her Toys, he'd find the real Lyra... Clearing his mind, he raised his brows. "Hmm? Yes, lets."

Ella smiled playfully. Her eyes faded into a light amber as her skin darkened. She was not specialized in these..midforms. She would only be able to hold out for so long. Her face sharpened, her eyes curving down sligtly more. Freckles dappled across her nose. Her outfit became one tat would suit Lyra, a nice gown. Ella chose silk. A sea green silk.

Smiling at him, she took his arm into her own, as she had often spyed...I mean...noticed... Lyra doing. She pulled at him. Lyra was not a forceful woman, contrary to Ella. He would have to lead.

Michael watched Ella shift, and smiled softly to himself. Lyra was a good lover, but could not keep his attention. She'd make someone a good soulmate, but- not him. No. Why not? Would she not comply to his wishes, and preform wifely tasks? He thought somberly as he hooked his arm with Ella, and forged a smle. No. The reason he would not further persue Lyra- was hanging onto his arm. Though he would never admit it; He'd lock his heart away until the day they could be. As for the rest of his body however... He smirked to himself and shook his head before looking down at "Lyra" and placed a gentle kiss upon her hair while murmuring "Je t'aime beaucouppe." He grinned against the silky red hair and sighed before turning, her under his arm and walking toward, and out the doors of Caracoa.
