Death. Something that had already befallen him once before. Something he always thought he was impervious to now. And yet at the moment, he found himself wishing for it more then anything in the mortal world. Another gunshot drew a strained gasp from his raspy throat as more of his own warm blood slowly trickled out from his body. Out from his hands and feet, which were skewered on knives to hold him up crucified to the cold stone wall. Out from his mouth, nose, and face, which bore the cuts and wounds of malice. And out from the many, many, punctures that dotted his body and limbs, created from being the victim of a sadist’s little game. Already his dark blue clothing had darkened even more, the cloth glistening slightly from moisture in the light given by the torches in the room.
For ages, the vampire had always wondered what his prey felt like when he fed on them. Perhaps this would be the most realistic answer he’d ever get. The only reason he was still alive was because his would-be executioner had purposely avoided any vital spots. Staring wearily at the fallen angel before him, he smirked. Adrias Brandt had too much pride to give the bastard what he wanted. To die screaming and begging, was not how he wanted to go. And he’d be damned if he gave the twisted man any satisfaction.
Lowering the barrel of his cross-shaped gun, Raven flexed his wings out wide before frowning. “Oh again with those eyes of yours, vampire! They just piss me off! That condescending look like you’ve already won. If it wasn’t for our guest here I would have ripped them out long ago!” In truth, it was because he had an audience behind him that he didn’t just kill his victim. It made it so much more enjoyable when you shared something you liked, in Raven’s case, it was torture. Even though his spectator didn’t seem to agree with his practices, he didn’t seem to want to interfere either. “So tell me, how does it feel! Having Death taking an eternity to claim your soul!”
Walking up to the pined vampire, he planted his boot squarely on Adrias’ stomach and squeezed more of his life fluid out from his body with a chuckle. “Real shame, you know. Without you around, manipulating our most beloved Keera will be almost too easy, heh!”
On his hands and knees, Raven’s little spectator felt something rise up yet again from his stomach. With an undesirable sound he heaved out more liquid onto the floor, adding to the already large puddle before him. Yet the mess on the floor was simply water, so he didn’t seem to care if he was getting wet. “st..op..” Gasping for air after the young man wiped at his mouth with the back of his hand, face contorted in utter shock. The man held up on the wall looked like he had been dragged through hell and back, and yet Raven continued to take his time. Bullet after bullet after bullet. It was a miracle Adrias’ arms hadn’t fallen off already! And the grotesque bite marks on his flesh.. The crimson river under the vampire coupled with the stench was too much for Nick to handle. “stop it..”
He had always hated Raven, but now he loathed him with every fiber of his being. But the revulsion of just staring at Adrias froze him in his place. By all means the vampire should have died long ago, yet he still held the will to live! To live despite Raven’s cruel game! Hands forming fists as he remained where he was, Nikolai flinched as another gunshot created yet another sickly sound from the man on the wall. Already the rune tattooed on his back was glowing, but he refused to change here, in a place where he might hurt Ally on accident. “I said sto-!" Trailing off as he vomitted water again he frowned, eyes starting to take on a beastial crimson glow.

Ally was frantic. She could find Nickolai nowhere. She had searched the entire place, at least she thought she had. Indigo eyes darted back and forth as she opened and closed every door, creating quite a racket. Her hair was down completely, hanging in in a tangle mess. Her face was contorted with worry and fear. As the final door slammed, she sunk to the floor, letting a heart wrenching scream pierce the now silence around her.
~~
Such racket! Indigo eyes that matched Ally's darted around the dark room before the girl rose from satin sheets of solid white, pulling a black satin housecoat over her bare body. Her hair hung in light waves around her face as she moved from her room enter the corridor.
Slumped against the opposite walls a few doors down was her twin. Maggie's eyes flashed with worry as se rushed the girl, flailing to her side, pulling her sisters tears stained face into her hands. "Ally? Ally! Whats' wrong??" She questioned, attempting to rub the streaks from her twins face.
"Gone...Gone.. He's gone.. Someone stole him!" Whined the girl, wailing in fury. Ally's eyes flashed angrily before crumbling into tears again.
Maggie pulled her twin in for a tight hug, her eyes darting around the hallway. Who had made her sister so angry? Her own eyes flashed, but unlike when Ally's had, the moment Maggies eyes flashed the ground beneath them rumbled.
Pulling her sister to her feet, the two began to walk towards Maggie's room. A gunshot stopped them in their tracks. It was feint, but enough to get their attention.
~~
It didn't take them long to find the source of the noise. Ally's Nykolai was in a pool of his own version of vomit, Raven was doing unimaginable things to a vampire upon the wall. Ah..Who was this? Adrias?
Upon seeing the scene before them, the two split. Ally was immediately to Nykolai's sie, collapsing at his side, forcing him to look away from the scene in front of him. Ally and Maggie were used to such behavior, but by Nykolai's actions, he was not. "Nykolai! Are.. Are you okay??" she stuttered, trying her best to completely turn the male around, so that his back was facing Adrias.
Maggie has appeared at Raven's side, her eyes angry and daring. Raven was sadistic, true enough. He had taught Maggie many things.. But when it came to her mother and her sister, no one could compete with the nightmares Maggie could bring to life. Streaks of black began to coarse their way through Maggie's hair as her eyes flashed. "Raven.. Adrias.." She growled.
Why were Adrias's eyes still in his head? Well.. Maggie would fix that. Moving towards the vampire, her hand contracted around his throat, shaking so violently in vibrated her whole arm. She wanted to crush the life from him now, but she would restrain. Her nails in her hand began to sharpen and grow in length. Tracing his eyes in a wide circle, she snarled. "How dare you.." She growled furiously, her voice so angry, so tight, it was a mere whisper.

Even though Ally was trying to force him to face the other way, Nikolai couldn't take his eyes off of Adrias. All his senses screamed at him that what Raven was doing was unquestionably evil, yet with Ally near by he didn't want to risk transforming. "We.. We have to stop this! He can't even fight back!" The distressed elemental held his hand out to the side as his scythe appeared in the air. Grabbing it firmly he forced himself up to his feet and bit his lower lip. This was no business of his. He didn't know what this vampire did. But no one deserved what Raven was doing to this man.
Not really surprised when he heard a pair of footsteps wonder into the chamber, Raven glanced over his shoulder at the two girls. He figured it was only a matter of time until Ally came looking for her pet, and Maggie would be tagging along as always. Taking a few steps back from Adrias he raised a brow. "Hm.. So this boy is your pet. He was snooping around earlier, but then he couldn't move after seeing Adrias all beaten up. You might want him to grow a little more used to the things we do here if he is to stay sane." Raven allowed Maggie to toy with the vampire while he stared at Nikolai with a smirk. "Boy, for Ally's sake, stand down."
Eyes barely open, it wasn't until he heard the two females' voices did he recognize them. Gasping as Maggie took a hold of his neck, he managed to crack a slight smile on his lips. "You always were the angry one, huh Maggie? But one day you will have feelings for a man similar to the ones I still have for your mother." He wasn't aware of the fact that she did in fact had a heartbreak earlier. And as her grip tightened, he winced. "Nick, is it? Listen to Raven. I have no qualms about dying here."

Ally was growing frustrated with Nykolai's refusal to turn away. Finally, she rose and stood in front of him, both hands on his face, forcing him to look at her. "Nykolai..I'm so sorry you had to see this.. But you can not interfere.. That would mean death for you. Raven is simply following orders.. This.. We... My race.. Me.. We are horrible creatures.. To us.. This is a lifestyle. We see this everyday. This is a simple punishment... Fallen Angels are an extremely revengeful race.. " She tried desperately to make him understand. What had she been thinking? Letting him stay here.. If Raven had permanently altered her Nykolai, or scared him enough to make him leave, he would be attatched to a wall.
Maggie snarled as Adrias spoke to her. "Who the hell said you could speak?" She growled. When he spoke of her mother, her free hand ground into his stomach, her claws raking through the flesh at a desperate attempt to tear out his bowels. Which she would do. One by one. Foot by foot. Until he screamed for a mercy that would never come.
"What feelings do you have for my mother? What the hell did she do to you to make you rip her heart out..Just as I'm going to do to yours.. " she growled, her other hand still raking through his flesh.

As the volume of blood sliding down from his lips increased with Maggie’s claws in his gut, Adrias couldn’t help but smile down at the girl. “You wish to know why I broke your mother’s heart..? It’s because I wanted Keera, your sister, even you, along with the rest of your people.. To live. If I stayed, she would not have the resolve nor the strength needed to weather the upcoming storm. So go ahead and rip out my heart, it died the day I left your mother.” When she continued to shift and rake his innards, he coughed up a small wave of crimson liquid. Already his breaths were short and raspy, and he could feel Death’s cold embrace slowly taking him away from the burdens of life. “Say and think what you will, but a dying man tells no lies. My only regret is that I’ll be going to hell alone, since I was unable to deal with the treacherous bastard behi-” His voice became inaudible as a final gunshot lodged a bullet into his heart. Stuttering for a few moments as the curtain was finally drawing to a close on his life, the vampire watched helplessly as things began to grow dark.
“Jeez, that guy just wouldn’t shut up.” Lowering the barrel of his cross shaped gun, Raven smirked. “Maggie, finish him in any manner you see fit, I’ve had my fun for the day, it’d be selfish of me to deprive you of any more.” As his weapon disappeared he glanced heatedly at Nikolai and grinned. “Be wary of your actions boy, the only thing that’s preventing me from killing you is Ally’s presence. If you interfere again, I will not be so kind.” The fallen angel then walked out of the chamber without even looking back.
Nikolai couldn’t believe what Ally was telling him. He refused to believe that this was an everyday occurrence! Flinching as Raven literally ended the situation with a bang, he paused. “Tch! This is not a punishment! This is just a game to him!” The elemental took several steps back from Ally after Raven had left. He was upset at Raven, Maggie, Ally, even himself. Seeing Adrias still hanging to life by a thread, he winced involuntarily before hurling his scythe at the vampire. Taking his life in one clean hit seemed a lot more honorable then having Maggie drag out the man’s death. Once Adrias’ eyes finally closed Nick dropped to his knees, caught somewhere between nausea and bitter content.

Ally was torn. The moment Nick stepped away, her heart shattered. Oh no, Nickolai would never be treated that way, Ally would make sure of it, but it still hurt her. Both of her outstretched arms fell to her side with a heavy thud as she let the tears roll down her face.
Maggie growled. Nickolai had ruined her fun. Her rage now turned on him. A snarl ripped from her throat as she stalked towards him. How dare he interfere! He knew nothing of the situation! Before Maggie could sort out her feelings from her rage, she was sailing through the air, her whole body aiming to ram Nickolai's body, but Ally's met hers first. Maggie flew sideway's, slamming into the opposite wall. Crumbling, it took her a moment to rise. Ally was stronger than she came across.
Slowly, the twin stood. Her eyes were hurt. She left them, her mind blank, empty, her heart hurt.
Ally and Nick were alone. Nick on the floor, Ally face down. "I'm sorry..."

Nick was barely aware of Maggie's killing intent, and seemed ignorant of the twins' little fight. But Ally's voice brought his attention back to reality. Seeing her laying down on the floor, he sighed before shaking his head. "For what?" The elemental got to his feet and ignored the corpse on the wall as he walked over to Ally's prone figure. Sitting down beside the girl, he lifted her up so she was sitting in his lap, with her side leaning against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her slim body after and held her close while he silently breathed in her scent, eyes closed. "If anything I should be sorry. Causing such a mess like this and all. If this is how your people do things, it's not my place to question it. I won't ask you to never to that sort of thing, because it wouldn't be fair to you, Ally."
Nick's fingers caressed her cheek before turning her face towards his. He smiled for her and whispered while resting his forehead against hers. "Please, forgive me for backing away earlier. Fallen or not, you're still my angel. Nothing will ever change that. So please stop crying, Ally."

((Omg....Those last few lines were gorgeous. XDD))
Ally had in fact crumpled to the ground. Her body went numb until she felt Nicks warmth touch her skin. As he pulled her onto his lap, she curled into his body, facing away from Adrias's still figure. In her mind, he had indeed deserved it, but she wasn't entirely happy with seeing the body anymore.. Now that the reality of the situation hit her. Fear gripped her throat. Attempting to relieve it, she tried to breath in his scent.. The scent of oceans, lakes, waterfalls.. But it was crushed by her fear.
Her voice was tight as she spoke, tears sliding down her face. "If Raven tells of your being present during the vampires execution, Mom will kill you.. I don't think she was entirely serious when she told Raven to kill him.. He'll do anything to save his own skin.." she said gently, her eyes gazing into his as their foreheads met. Her fear, still taunt in her gut, was erased for that single moment as he spoke to her. Her hand gently touched his cheek as he smoothed her own. One last tear fell down her porcelain cheeks, but it was not of fear, sadness, or hurt. IT was love.. She loved him so much, this moment brought tears to her eyes.

(wewt for meh!)
As the last of her tears rolled down her cheek, Nikolai tenderly wiped it away with his thumb before whispering to Ally. “We’ve been through some tough times recently, but I need my angel to smile for me, even just once, to help me get through this. And for that angel, I’d devote myself fully to. So that she could smile and get through this as well.” Their lips hovered dangerously close now as he stared into her eyes. He could feel the heat from her breath on his skin, and as the distance closed, the warmth of her flesh as he kissed her, his eyes slowly closing. Holding the moment for several seconds, he allowed himself to fall into a momentary bliss.
Pulling his lips away once he felt he had gotten his message across to her, he smiled for her, honestly, tenderly. “Come what may, I could never blame you for anything that happens to me, nor could I every be angry with you. Please be strong for me, and I'll be strong for you.”

Ally cuddled closer to him, closing any space between there bodies, with the exception of their faces. She leaned into his hand as he wiped her tears from her cheek, and let her eyes close as he close the finally gap between them. It was simply beautiful.
As he pulled away, she placed her head against his forehead again. She let a contented sigh escape her lips before her brows wrinkled again. Unlike Maggie, she couldn't just go where the wind took her, she worried. She cared. "It's going to get rough when things kick up again, and it will.."
