"I'm not exactly rushing things, I'm just...moving them on at a better pace" she said with a small wink.
For some reason Keera brought out the....niceness in her. When she had first met her it had bothered Melody very much, because she saw it as a weakness. Now that she was used to it, however, it was something of a relife to know she could be somewhat happy around someone and not worry about them defying her later.

Keera smiled. She remembered back when she had just met MElody..they werent exactly...getting along. Keera made Mel act like herself..laugh and have fun at times when she didnt want it, and she knew it bothered her alot back then, it was a relief that Melody didnt hide it anymore. Keera nodded for Melody to walk with her. "so..Ready to go grab a glass to drink?" She asked her kindly.

"That would be nice" she said with a sigh, for some reason ever since she had talked to that new vampire the need for a mate had awakened within her, she knew for a fact that the Werewolves had an heiress and she firmly believed that the vampire race would need a strong leader to lead them if anything ever happened to her.

Keera smiled gently and opened the door for her. The vampires had long ago dissmissed the two as normal. When they had just begun to become slight friends, to see them together was like hell came crashing down, now she sight was a known one, therefore nothing new. She hissed at a staring vampire who quickly scurried off.
((Sure, why not^^ My sn is Bynxybaby1))

There were so many things to consider during these troubled times... The forefront in his mind was which side to choose. Of course, he should be a loyal slave and fight for the vampires, but he saw no profit in that... Standing out on a balcony, Adrias folded his arms across his chest, giving the vampires outside in the darkness a light frown.
He had made sure to heed Keera's earlier words, and was sure that there was no trace of a werewolf's distinct smell on him. Usually he did not forget such critical things, but even he had his days... Resting on the flat wooden railing, was another glass of blood, one he made sure that was a little fresher then normal. How he loathed drinking it cold...

When Keera had left Damian sighed, closing his eyes to the darkness of her room. Laying there Damian figured he should return to his own room before falling asleep, no need to stay in her room. Though her bed was a lot softer. Yawning, just as he was about to stand up the door opened to Keera returning, and someone following. Damian gave a small nod at the introductions, smirking a small help to his majesty. It seemed she didn't really care at all about him. Damian shrugged, oh well. Damian stood and took his leave as they began their conversation, he didn't really need to listen, and returned downstairs. Hiding another yawn behind his hand Damian sat back at his table, his feet propping back up on the table. Snatching the passing vampire Damian told him plainly "Fetch me some fresh blood" The vampire nodded and scurried off doing he bid, Damian's poisonous weapon on his mind.

Melody watched the vampire named Damian that Keera had introduced her to earlier. As she watched the vampire scurry off to do his bidding a cruel smile twisted on her lips, "we do have servants you know" she said, coming up behind him.

Damian turned his head slowly, his lifeless eyes staring up into his leader's face. Now she wishes to talk to him? Damian blinked studying her for a moment. "I believe we do" Damian replied lifting his gaze from her and back down. His head turned as he watched the other vampire return holding the glass carefully between his hands, that were beginning to shake. Damian slid his feet down and turned his body to face the vampire. As soon as the vampire handed the glass over he immediately took his leave, he didn't want to stick Damian in case he made a mistake. Smacking his lips Damian took and placed the glass to his lips. After taking his fill Damian sat the glass on the table remembering that Melody was still standing by. "Would you like a glass?" Damian questioned gathering his manners.

"No thank you, I just fed in the stables. I should be fine for now" she replied, her voice smooth and a glint amusement in her eyes. Her new subject didnt like her very much.

"So," she said studying her unwilling companion, " Are you Keera's mate?" she asked a bit of curiosity in her voice peaking through as it softened at the thought of her friend.

Rouin continued with his plans. Perhaps this time they would be in consideration. Maybe not. He sighed, finishing up with the piece of paper then folding it up. He stood and tapped the pencil on the table, then stood up. He didn't know when the last time he tried to get some plans through backfired. Perhaps, this time would be different. He would have loved it if these plans made it through. He sighed some, not sure whether or not to give it in, he was actually very nervous about criticism.

Vixy ha dlong ago left him alone at the table, and returned to her room with Crissy. Closing the door behind them, they exited their room into the hallway, walking down the stairs gently, smig looks on their faces. Vixy stuck to her tricks, while Crissy held her same face..no emotion.

Keera moved quietly along the halls, her presence seemed to glow with a light worry as she moved. Her face didnt show it, of course...but mainly because her eyes were covered. The lycan rac and ally's were growing far greater than the vampire, and it angered her. If others were not willing to join...they should be to afraid not to. Was the vampiric and fallen angel races becoming weak? A loud ferosiuos hiss on her lips as she faced the vampires in the hallway..who stared, frozen in fear.

Rouin placed the piece of paper in his pocket, he wasn't going to chance it's reject now. Not at the moment. He looked around, sure of himself that he could sneak off to his chambers without being called upon.

Walking back into the halls, he took his glass in one hand and scratched the back of his head with its counter part. He dared not rest in this place, well, not too much, anyways. If Melody had a taste for her own kind, Adrias could only fathom how many other vampires turned to canabalism...

His eyebrow raised slightly as he stared at her, his blank expression almost giving a hint of laughter. "Keera? No, I didn't think she was ever the type to allow a man to woe her" Damian answered. As she had spoke Damian had heard her voice soften, so they were keen on each other, he thought they were just rumors like every other believed thing in this place.

Melody's eyes sparked with a hint of laughter, before being hidden behind her mask. "Ah, so is this a case of unrequited love?" She said, with an over dramatic sigh.

Damian's lips pursed as he shook his head. "Once it was, but not anymore. Keera is no longer the only thing in my heart" It was true, once before he had loved Keera, but knowing it would be rejected he had fallen out of love. Love...had became useless to him after that. Why stand up to only be pushed down again?

"Ah, interesting..." Melody said, suddenly slightly uncomfortable, as the true mention of love always did. "Well, the good thing about vampire relationships is that love is often better left out anyway" she said, suprising herself by trying to help, "it just complicates things in an unnessasary way and makes it...too..." she trailed.

Damian nodded slowly. "Very true indeed. That is why it has became useless to me" Damian answered flicking his hand over his shoulder as if he were tossing something away. "It gets to the young ones though" Damian added rather distasteful.

Melody looked at him carefully, "yes, the younger race always seems to be wooed by romance. Thats why I dont mess with them, I look for someone more...practical" she said, still observing Daminan.
He would be a good leader for the vampiers...

Damian nodded once again, slower then the last. Looking? What did she mean by looking. His blank expression barely changed though as his eyebrow tilted slightly up wards in it's usual way. "So you do plan on finding a mate?" Damian questioned raising his glass to his lips. He drank slowly as if trying to procrastinate. But from what? They were just merely having a conversation. Returning the glass to the table Damian returned his gaze to her.

Melody almost smiled at his expression, he obviously was uncomfortable about the whole buisiness...well he couldnt be anymore than she was. "Yes, actually, I am" she said deciding to hell with it, he might as well know, "I want someone strong enough to lead the vampires, smart enough to realise that it would be a partnership and that he would not control me, and practical enough to know I would never love him."

As she waited for his response Melody slightly lifted her left pointer finger, and out of no where an exelently trained butler appeared and asked what she would like, after telling him a small glass (of blood) with a few shots of whiskey the man turned and disappeared through a hidden servants door.

That was exactly what he wanted to her, no love what so ever. Smoothing back a few stray stands of hair Damian smirked slightly "It'll be hard to find though, most of your 'faithful' members are young and stupid. " Damian couldn't help but narrow his eyes just a bit as he focused on her body language, what was she getting at? Why was she telling him this? [/center]

Melody watched his face, sipping the newly brought drink, "You are confused as to why the 'oh-so-evil' Mistress Melody is telling you this arent you?" she said with a sinister smile, that effectively hid the pain this subject caused her.
Although she had gotten what she wanted from her rapist all those years ago it had still made it hard for her to even consider having a mate, but leading a race isnt all about what you want.

Damian bit the inside of his cheek. damn the woman, could she read minds. But he kept a polite face. "Quite frankly I am wondering" Damian answered picking up his glass. Hiding any further expression behind the glass of blood Damian drank deeply, he was getting rather thristy.

Melody looked her companion in the eye, and speaking carefully she replied, "Because I think-if it is something that you want-you are exactly the vampire I am looking for as a mate." She took a deep drink of her strange concoction waiting for his reaction.

While waiting she snapped her fingers and the butler appeared again, this time she handed him a small note. After reading it the man nodded and hurried off to do his Mistress's bidding.
