((Sorry, but this thread has to be uninterrupted. ^^'))
The man stopped in one of The Cave's many tunnels, cold sweat trickling on his brows. He pulled the child from beneath the safety of his cloak, at the same time pulling his hood off. Even in the close darkness, his hair was shining. Above his gray eyes was a head of bright hair, so light it looked almost white, and so thin it floated like floss in a shaggy mess on his head. It was no wonder the Queen wanted him to be the spy. He certainly looked like he could be a light elemental. His eyes reached the girl fondly, satisfied that he could find a hidden room to leave her in safely while he travelled back to the kingdom for the lady herself. His hand reached for the nearest door, opening it into a dimly lit room. It was covered with white candles, and he found a lush crimson carpet beneath his feet as he entered. The walls were stone, and there were no windows, but a strange symbol sat on them. Upon first sight, one could only assume it was some sort of shrine, or place for worship. "Now stay here, okay?" he said to the girl, bending down and placing her on the soft carpet. "I'll be back and get you later, but you can not leave, alright?" he continued, his voice as nice as he could make it, though the rough edge could never quite leave. He then left with a black trail flowing behind him, speedily making his way towards Alkara. [/center]

Arianna looked up at him, her big blue eyes wide with confusion... He'd ran so fastly-- and now she was in this odd place... With a light gargling noise of protest she plopped down on the crimson carpet and looked around.
As the man left she cocked her head to the side, asif understanding what he said.
Like earlier, a dark aura floated around the child, seemingly fuled by the dark place she was in. It was an odd happening, but made sense-- It had been told that strong elementals could raise their power by feeding off of surrounding sources... But the infant did this only by nature. "Urublgmm..." She cooed while making fists in the crimson carpet and giggling.

Alexandra slowly made her way down the corridors of the 'Cave'. She wore a pair of light blue jeans, a sports bra and combat boots. Her side was red and sore looking, stitches held a wound closed. One more day and she could take the stitches out, she stopped in her tracks listening. She could hear the cooing of a child, following it she entered the crimson room. Upon entering she found a little girl, a black aura fluttered about the little body. Alexandra walked over to the child, she knelt down in front of the infant and smiled her eyes warm. "Hello little one, whats your name?" She asked watching the little girl. She looked around but could not see anyone, why would anyone leave a child in this room? She wondered turning her wine red eyes back to the child. "Would you like to come with me?"

Wrapping her small arms around the woman's leg Ari released a small giggle. To her, this was all fun and games. She didn't know of the massive part she'd play in the future of the Valley. Her blue eyes peered up at Alexandra questioningly and she replied with a cooing-gargling baby noise. "grabrarlll...." Smiling she shook her head and sighed cutely, yawning tiredly from teh days excitement.

Alexandra smiled down at the girl, she lifted her up into her arms. "Lets put you to bed little one." She said standing, her right hand runing up the childs back. "I'll look after you."

((Not sure if I'm supposed to be here... ^^" But Adrias isn't going to do much anyways))
Walking along the corridors, Adrias sighed. An unlit and somewhat bent cigarette rested casually between his lips. Most knew of his bad habit, and out of respect, he rarely lit his cancer stick around others. He found that it helped him in his endeavor to try and quit smoking, but alas, the white sticks compelled him...
Tilting his head to the side as he heard Alexandra, Adrias blinked dumbly for a second and glanced into the 'worship' area. Sure enough, his new found friend was there, clutching a baby for some reason. Finding it a little odd, he cleared his throat before speaking, and leaned agains the entrance way. His right arm though, was still in its sling, in the last days of its healing process. "Hello, Alexandra. What's with the kid?"

Ari burried her face in Alexandra's shoulder making soft baby noises before looking at Adrias with a large yawn. Moving her small hands to her face she contentedly began sucking on her fingers, not moving her gaze form the man. The aura around the child grew stronger yet, as the dark Adrias' presance added to it.

Alexandra turned to Adrias, she smiled seeing him. "I found her in here, I thought I would take care of her...I am lonely and a child would brighten my life." She replied softly, looking down at the child. She brushed some hair back from the child face as she walked over to the man. "I don't understand why someone would place a child within the worship rooms..."

Of course, the dark aura around the child perturbed Adrias more then a little bit, but the vampire did not ask about it. An elemental, no doubt… But what was the child doing here? Smiling lightly at Alexandra, he shrugged. “Nothing better to take care of then a child, I suppose.” Casting his smile to Ari, he chuckled. She seemed harmless, but Adrias could feel a powerful strength hidden deep within the girl. Perhaps it would be best if Alexandra did take care of her. She would be spared the harshness of his kind, and hopefully grow up with the right morals. “Do you think you will be able to do so here? There has been much activity as of late.”

"Yes, I think I can Adris." Alexandra replied shifting the child to her right hip lessoning the weight upon her stiches. "She might keep me from dieing." She joked smiling up at the male vampire. "What ails you friend?" She asked worried, for she could not scence the power coming from the child.

Pausing in surprise, he studied Alexandra’s expression. Surely even she could sense the evil emanating from the child… With a light shrug, he frowned. “I… Don’t know yet, to be honest… Something strange is going on, and this girl has something to do with it… She is not a vampire, but is something else. A threat to us, possibly, and herself.”

Alexandra dropped her sheilds, she felt the childs power. "Not a danger but an allie if brought up right. She is both light and dark, yet dark dominates in this place." She replied her red eyes glowing softly.

“Personally I’d rather not see her grow up to be on the darker side of things… It will only lead to a messy future for the girl.” He knew that she might grow suspicious of him because of his words, but that was what Adrias firmly believed in. “How will you raise her?”

Alexandra sighed. "I don't know. I am of the dark yet to train her in the light would kill both me and my kin." She looked up at her friend confused and lost. "What shall I do Adris?" She could feel tears falling down her cheeks. "How can I choose?"

With a troubled frown, Adrias shook his head. “The child will indefinitely grow keen to dark energies if raised here, but if she grows up to have a good heart, there shouldn’t be any problem. Just be careful in how you bring her up, Alexandra.” Giving her a encouraging smile, he nodded.

"But what if I make it worse?" Alexandra asked worried, she looked down at the child. "I could leave with Azyca." She said to herself thinking of the Dark elf, he would help bring the child up.

Ariana blinked up at the adults, c onfused look on her face. "Glurbp?" Giggling she wrtiggled about, her little infant hands reaching up at Alexandra's face.
"Glorupd." she grinned, showing off her three teeth.

Running a hand through his hair, Adrias sighed and shrugged, unsure of what to do with the girl. Keera would probably want to taint the child, much to his dismay… “Perhaps the dark elf would be a good choice…” Or, they could give the baby to the werewolves, but trying to do so would attract too much attention to them. “For the time being, I suppose you could take care of her, Alexandra… If you need help, I shan’t be too far away.”

Giggling, as she had no idea as to how serious this conversation was; Ariana simply looked at them wide-eyed and grinning.

Alexandra smiled, she brushed some hair back from the child's face. "Azyca will help, he is both kind of heart and strong of will. He will be good for the child." She closed her red eyes reaching out to Azyca, calling for his help. "He should be here soon, thank you Adrias that means a lot to me." She kissed his cheek in gratitude, her eyes shifting to the child. "What do you think little one?"

Believing that was their best option, Adrias merely nodded in agreement. Raising her here would only cause her suffering later on down the road, and he didn’t have the heart to let that happen and go about with his own business. True, his compassion might become the death of him, but Adrias was content in knowing that he lived up to his personal standards, and would have no regrets. Taking the kiss for what it was, a simple gesture of thanks, Adrias nodded once more, before following her gaze to the child. “Don’t mention it. Besides, I doubt that my help will be needed, since a drow will be caring for her.”
