Long white hair fell over her face, covering her flushed cheeks as she gasped for air.Shouts were heard behind her as she looked up. Grabbing a branch, she fled into the tree's. Silently, she was like wind as she perched a good distance up, allowing the hunters to keep going. Silently, she moved through a good dozen tree's until she came upon a sleeping figure. Pulling the figure to her chest, she dropped to the ground silently, only the grass to keep her company.
Slowly, she began to walk, and as she did, she changed. Her long white hair faded blue, and her dress became a short skirt and a shirt as soft eyes took over, smiling down upon a sleeping child.
Her name was Dakota. She knew these lands..but it had been a good couple of months since she had suddenly vanished with out a trace. Why had she returned? She didn't know..but something told her she should..A baby should not grow up with out a father..
Her silent peace was shattered as she was brought back to reality by the piercing scream of her child, little Stacey. The baby was fighting and screaming as it kicked and lashed out. A soothing song slipped from her mouth as a voice that would melt the coldest heart wafted to the baby;s ears. calming it almost instantly as it snuggled closer to her.
'His face..I can see it in hers..She has his eyes as well..Everywhere I turn, I can not escape my love for him..but I'm not worth it..He is a Lord..He doesn't need a child to deal with..Yet I can not escape my passion to see his smile..Hear his voice..touch his skin..Taste his lips..He is my nightmare, yet also my dream..My savior and devil..He is my life..
