Sitting in a hammok chair, sat Lachra, her feline companion sleeping contentedly in her lap. Continuing to stroke the cat's ebony fur she blinked foreward, levitating a crystal orb toward her, a smirk on her face.
"A drow?" Furrowing ehr brows as she gazed into the orb's depth she sighed exasperatedly, waking the cat. "...Not just any either." Raising a brow she smirked. "and what would Larkin be doing here?"
Slowly rising, she cradled the cat in one arm as she walked toward the door of her home, opening it slowly as Larkin approached. "What are you doing here?"

The two girls leaned over the table, discussing the latest findings on the war. A large map was spread out he table, various candles, black and white, all along the edges, lit gently. Their voices could scarcley be heard as they talked. At the sound of Lachra's voie, they looked up.
Layla's white hair cascaded over her shoulders and down her back as she tilted her head up, she was already facing the door as she leaned on the table. her eyes glimmered gently at the sight of his face. What was a drow, and a lord, doing here? What buisness did he need here? her lips held a slight circle as they held a quiestion....What?
Lily's purple hair slid down her back, and over her shoulder like a waterfall as she looked up and turned her head around gently, her back facing the door. Her emerald green eyes had a slight glint in them. she stood, releasing the table and turning around, her arms at her side, gently snaking up as she folded her arms.

Yes, they knew who he was, if he knew who they were, couldnt matter any less to them. The girls were pretty known, if you knew Lachra, you knew them. Their past was rittled with deaths and loves. They knew it all, yet for others, it was a tad harder to understand.
When the girls were smaller, just children, both of the girls hair was grey, and they both had grey eyes. As they evils and deaths rose, they changed.
Lily's demon side fed off of the victems hatred, and grew stronger, thus changing her hair to a burnt blood color. A redish purple. Her eyes changed from grey to green as she grew older as well, the color of grass before they stained it with blood.
Layla, on the other hand, was different. Her angel side fed on those souls who forgave the girls for their wrong doing, thus growing stronger. Her hair became a pure purple, her eyes becoming blood red, a sign of all whom died in her hands.
Dispite the changes in the girls, their attitudes remained. they still enjoy what they do, and enjoy the deaths they cause. this is on ething that will never change about the girls.

Larkin entered the hut-like house, while casting an annoyed look at Lachra. "Same-reason I always come wench."
The woman's expression darkened and the fire-light in the room flickered. "Watch your tongue Larkin. Or I may be adding the head of a drow to my ingredient list."
Not impressed with her threat, Larkin pinned her against the wall, his forearm against her throat.
"Something that will prevent a shifter from transforming."
Lachra narrowed her eyes and nodded. "Very well."
Releasing the sorceress, Larkin stepped back. "I've a nasty plot for those two. I've a bone to pick with them."
Rolling her eyes, Lachra sauntered over to her cabinent. "Do I ever ask why Larkin?"
Larkin got the point and sneered while folding his arms. "Just hurry up."

As soon as he had pinned Lachra, she girls had rose immediatly, and taken a step towards him, ready to defend her, not caring of the effect. This Drow Lord seemed a bit unnerved. "Hmm..I think someone is just a tad worried about something..." Lilly said gently as a small, twisted smile crept onto her face.
Layla's smile soon followed. "So it would seem....May we assist you in any way M'Lord...Shifters are very entertaining to kill...."

Stepping into the hut after all of the commotion was over, Logan stared impassively at the three females, not really liking their company. But still, he kept himself in check, keeping his broadsword sheathed. Letting Larkin do the talking, his gaze strayed off to the many items in the room, most of which he had never seen before. He knew the only reason he had been sent with Larkin was because he was more ‘obedient,’ well, more then Jamirus was, anyways… But Logan had no qualm of leaving Larkin to fend for himself. Which was partly the reason why he did not go to far from the exit.

Layla's eyes turned to Logan..He seemed young..and intrieged by the things in the room..Why? Arent Dark Elves supposed to be fight prone? Most she knew hated learning anything but fighting...This one though..She didnt quite like it..Those who loved to fight caught her attention..But he was more in Lily's catagory..Or so she thought.

Feeling the eyes of another upon, him, Logan pulled his sword free out of reflex, leaning it against his shoulders as his own eyes glared back in defiance at Layla. Eyeing the female carefully, he vaguely measured the distance between them. Yup, he could get in at least one swing at her if she tried anything rash.

Lachra condured an odd looking black chocker before handing it to Larkin. "take it and..... what payment?"
Larkin smirked. "Gold, silver; you name it. You've just given me the key to the shifter's fall."
Lachra glared at him. "Mhmm..."

Rolling her eyes, Layla only glared back. Folding her arms, she allowed her hands to slip around the mantle of her swords...She didnt trust him...Slowly they slid out, only to be interupted by two soft hands. LAyla's cold eyes glared up, peircing into the kind eyes of her sister, Lily, who only gave her a gentle smile and shook her head gently. Sighing, Layla released them, letting them slide back into their holders around her waist, giving her sister a pathetic smile.
Lily's eyes moved over to Logan, offering an apologetic smile. She knew he was only defendig his Lord. Yes, she knew good and well her spear was leaning against the table, out of her reach..Yet he didnt scare her..If he tried a move, she would just move from his way..BNut something about him....He didnt want to fight..He wanted to learn.

Clenching his teeth at Layla, Logan almost growled at the woman in indignation. What was her problem? Bringing his broadsword into a ready position as she pulled her own swords from their sheaths, the drow continued to glare defiantly at her. It wasn’t until Lily’s intervention did he stop, and he stared at her suspiciously for a moment, unsure of what to think. But, he knew that she did not want to fight, and so he sheathed his broadsword as well. Turning back to study the many items around the hut, Logan sighed, folding his arms across his chest. What kind of wonderful, and deadly, spells could he cast with these?

"Thirty shards of un-tainted gold." Lachra muttered after moments of silence. Her cold gaze was still threatening as she stared at the drow lord, not really caring about the out-come of his little plot. She, had bigger fish to fry.
Larkin smirked and nodded "Agreed." He handed a pouch to the 'Swamp Witch' and blinekd at the choker. How amusing. A little accessory would be the fall to his enemies? Turning on his heels, he started for the door, only to feel a sharp stinging in the center of his back.
Making a short noise, clearly full of pain; the drow turned to face the woman again. "Larkin, you good for nothing..."
Her teeth were clenched and her voice was a venemous hiss. "Eighteen shards." Throwing the pouch at his feet, she stepped foreward, her fists balled. "You try to rip us off? How pathetic. Even for a drow."
Using some sort of telepathy, she forced the lord to his knees; anger blazing in her usually cold and stoic eyes. "I think you should pay in blood. What say you?"
Larklin growled, finding that an invisible force was keeping him kneeling infront of the magical being. "No." his voice was low and dangerous. "If you do not release me now, I'll have your head on display over the castle drawbridge!"
Lachra narrowed ehr eyes. "You, oh noble drow, are in no position to be making threats." Blinking at her apprentaces, she raised a brow. "What do you think girls? We do need fresh drow blood, after all-- Our old stock seems to be used up..." Smirking coldly, she awaited their replies.
Meanwhile, the feline in residance, Hex, had prowled into the room and was sitting at layla's feet, a rather malevolent look on his defined muzzle. Shifting his chilling amber eyes to Logan, the cat twiched his wiskers and hissed lowly; not daring to leave the demon's side.

Lily's eyes left Logans form as they returned to their hard, scheming selves. A slow, evil smile crept onto her lips.
Layla looked down upon Hex, and let a tiny, tender smile creep upon her lips as she bent down and gently picked up the cat, allowing it flexibility and freedom, should it want down. Her cold eyes soon followed Lily's to the drow king upon the ground.
"Always.." They said in unison as they stepped up to Lachra, one on each side of her, Lily had her spear in hands.

Lachra smirked, and to Larkin's horror, drew a dagger from within her robes. Dropping to her knees, the 'witch' drew the blade across his face, smiling twistedly as the blood began to trickle down his face.
Larkin turned his head from the woman and sneered contemptuously while growling to himself. "You, Wench, will be shown no mercy when I am released."
Lachra smirked. "Well, that's not much insentive to me not to bleed you dry, is it?" Lifting a small vile to his face, she began to catch the dropletts of blood. And, once content with the amount, she released the telekenetic barrier and allowed him to stand. "That wasn't so bad now was it."
Larkin glared at her menacingly. "I will have your head on a platter witch. But, we still have uses for your odd skills." He muttered before turning to leave, gathering all the pride he had left and walking out with his head held high. "C'mon Logan."
Hex hissed at the guard and lifted his head while flicking his tail tip annoyedly. He didn't like other creatures, especially Drows. They allways seemed to want to start something. How pathetic. Flicking his hears foreward he narrowed his eyes and let out a snort-like noise before burring his head in the girl's arm.

At first, Logan only pulled his broadsword free, not daring to interfere. This was a conflict between Larkin and Larcha. Ignoring Hex altogether, he resumed his quiet study of the many curious artifacts in the room, but kept an eye on the situation anyways. He found himself not really caring when the witch had cut his Lord's face, and turned to a sealed jar, containing a liquid and a nasty looking worm-like creature. A parasite, by his guess.
His eyes traced back to Larkin at the command to leave, and his hand deftly replaced his sword back into its sheath in one fluid motion. The drow seemed reluctant to depart with such 'treasures' nearby, and gave the room's contents a brief stare before turning to follow his leader out.

"Hmph...So much for bleeding him dry.." Layla said gently, turning with Hex in her arms. Stroking the cat gently, she let out a sigh before turning to the window to watch them leave.
A bit broken hearted, Lily sighed, untying the ribbon in her short hair, letting it fall down around her face. "Well, why did you only get a bit?" she asked her mistress.

Taking the vile into her soft hands she let the evil smile creep onto her face. "Magnificent.." she said softly. Turning, she headed to the glass shelf that was full of viles, each marked by a strange symbol. Lily's slipped a small lighter from the slit in her dress, her finger instantly catching fire as she slipped it back into place. Slowly, she burned a symbol into the vile, and a small D above it for race.
Layla let Hex easily stride from her arms as she turned and leaned on the window, watching her sister. "You know what, I'm up for a little fun...How about the werewolves this time?"

Lachra sat in a large black and crimson chair, her feline companion curled into a tight ball on her lap, tail-tip twiching occasionally. Her dark eyes stared blankly across the room and she let out a grunt-like noise while contemplating what her next move was.
Standing slowly, she dropped hex and re-appeared into the main room where her apprentices seemed to be up to.... mischevious plotting. She shrugged and shook ehr head before blinking at them, a wry smile on her face.
"Darlings, I should ask, before you cause complete chaos, could you deliver this package to Lemartes?" It was an odd black envelope with a white ribbon tied around it, Lachra's name was scribbled in the left corner in a shimmering silver ink, while the shifter lords was in a golden ink that shone brightly in the center.
Hex padded over to Layla and pawed at her leg, asking to be picked up. It had been long since he'd been out of the swamp and the feline felt quite bored.

Taking the envelope, Lily let a smirk creep onto her face. "Doubling crossing the drow lord eh? Very nice.." Giving Lachra a look, she walked to the door, waiting on her sister.
Layla bent and scooped Hex up, listening to the conversation gently, paying the cat more attention than the others. Giving it a soft ru behind the ears, she let a rare voice leave her throat. It was sweet and soft, a voice she only used with Hex, and rarely with her sister and Lachra. "Do you wanna come with us? Were going to the Den this time."

Turning, she left again, dissapearing into her bedroom.
