Resurecting the Great

Syrenia stood in the bog-like terra, her ice-blue eyes scanning the land for any signs of movement.
Why had Lachra's apprentices agreed to help her?
Was it the hefty price she was paying?
Or was it being privilaged to commit a forbidden ceremony?
She wrapped ehr arms around her waist as she awaited the arrival of Lily and Layla.

A mist began to cover the area as two shadows formed over the field. A gentle toss of the hair was all it took for the mist to begin to swirl around the red head, leaving small gaps big enough to see an eye, or a cheek. A hand moved in the mist. Like clearing away from from a window, the mist began to separate as the two heads became visible.

Long red hiar, pullied back into a tight tail adorned the head of Layla, one of Lachra's apprentices. Her Kimono was pulled tight around her body, arms crossed, as her cold eyes rested upon the woman before her.

Light blue eyes matched short blue hair that draped around her porcelin face in a perfect heart. Her kimono was just as tight, but her arms lay by her side as softer eyes, hiding a true malice and power, rested upon the woman as well. "Did you bring what we asked for?" She said with a kind voice, yet it hid many secrets and evils.

Nodding, Syrenia handed over their compensation and most of Lupus' personal effects.
After this she stepped aside to reveal a golden casket, adorened with jewls and intrecit designs.
"Please... Hurry."
She whispered in a some-what distressed tone, her Ice blue eyes darting around un-easily.

Placing a hand on her hips, Lily looked at her questioningly. "As long as you didnt tell anyone about this, we wont be found out..Stop worrying, we need a relaxed aura around us..." She hissed at her, her eyes hinting a slight trace of annoyance.

Layla took the affects, and rumaged through them, tossing aside what she found wasnt needed. Her eyes rested on the jewls, which brought a smile to her lips..Money was the root of all happyness..to her.."alright, lets start.."

Syrenia watched them with wide, questioning eyes.
She'd only ever heard about this forbidden ceremony... And prayed that Lupus would forgive ehr for breaking one of the oldest codes.

Hex padded behind Layla, his slender black tail swaying lazily behind him.The cat's amber eyes watched curiously as he stationed himself near the girls feet, whiskers twiching every few moments.

[Tado]

Watching this all from afar, Logan raised a brow. What was going on? And why did they all seem so tense about this? More importantly, he noted, Lachra was not present, and her lackeys seemed quite eager to accomplish the task at hand… Piecing together the bits of information, the drow frowned. What was Syrennia paying them to do? He was out of earshot, but was sure to be close enough to see. Keeping his broadsword sheathed, he but his lip, trying to contain the excitement, and slight fear, he had accumulated in the past few minutes.

[Jack]

((hmm...Interesting... I shall lurk for awhile I suppose...))

Tossing each item into the air, Lily closed her eyes, and began to move her hands while Layla closed hers and began to chant. Yes, many people of high power could do the ceremony, but the girls, being two of them, could do it with ease...

The items began to float, then began to be encased in a circular purple cloud before figured began to take shape. As one began to piece together, the girl began to chant together.
"We call upon the dead this day,
For one so great his soul will stay,
We wish to bring this one soul back,
His soul is there, thou shall not lack."

The light began to spread, and soon, a blinding light covered the field.

A look of pure boredom played on each girls face as they looked at Syrenia. "It seems someone is approaching thee.." Hissed Lily, while Layla had other things on hand. She had long before noted of Logans presence, and in a split second she had disappeared from her sister and Syrenia.
Undisturbed by her sisters lack of presence, Lily stayed with Syrenia, having also known about Logan, however, one had to stay with the spirit for now...


Layla gently crept up behind Logan, and placed her hands firmly on her hips. "Excuse me, but this party is exclusive..and you dont cut it." She hissed vilely at him.

[Trix]

Syrenia blinked at them wide-eyeddly.
"Is it... Is he back?"
Her voice was shaking and she was awe-stricken....
Honestly,
What was her reaction supposed to be?

Taking a step forward, Lily took the figures hand, and gently said something to him. "Welcome back." sh said softly as she figure stepped from the mist..Lupus..

Of course, the two had their own reasons for doing this, besides cash and jewels...They thrived off chaos, without it, they would not be able to live, they feed from it...Brining Lupus back in the middle of the war, when his daughter is in horrible shape, and his wife has already given herself away again..Well...This should be fun...

[Jack]

The great figure himself blinked his crystaline eyes, searching his surroundings with narrowed eyes. His black hair was as neat as the day he died and his eyes burned with the same energy but, there was someething different.... He was weaker, he cold hardly stand on his own. From years of a dead soul, a dead shell, he was finally awakened.

He came to a stop and his eyes fell on Syrenia and they immediatly became hard. "What have you done?" he growled, looking to the twins.

[bynx]

Leaping backward, Lily's gaze became crystalline hard as her demon side took control. []"We did what we were paid to do! You should be thankful for the life we just gave you!"[/b] She growled as she placed a hand on her hip.

[Jack]

Lupus wasn't at all pleased. "This changes everything, witch!" he snarled, clearly pissed off but, yet, he was fascinated.

[bynx]

Letting an evil grin creep onto her face, the aura around her darkened, as did her face, "I know.." she hissed before waving her hands. The gold and jewels began to meditate as it flowed behind her, in a flash, she had left them, along with her payment to join her sister,

[Tado]

A calm hand rested upon the hilt of his broadsword, his curious eyes remaining on the eerie spectacle that unfolded before him. His reply to Layla came out in a soft, clear tone. “Which is why I choose to remain hidden… And it would seem that this party has just started to liven up with its new guest. You’d best go to him and make sure the summoning went correctly, I dare not fathom the destructive powers of an angry un-dead.” His placid gaze drifted over to the witch for a second, letting his words sink in. What news this was! The great Lupus was back, and Logan knew well that his Lord would not be pleased with the news.

[Trix]

Syrenia blinked at Lupus and though his anger burned feircely, a soft bubble of joy built in her heart.
"Lupus..."
She stepped foreward and placed a hand on his soft fur, tears forming in ehr eyes... She'd dreamed of this moment... Fo so long she'd dreamed that she'd see her departed mate again...
And there he was....
"Oh Lupus...."
Her throat constricted adn ehr Icy blue eyes misted over as tears began to fall freely down her cheeks.

[Jack]

He responded to her touch and turned to look at her, his eyes out of focas for a minute as he gazed at her. "Syrenia..." For a minute, his voice was soft, like it had been when he was alive...before... But then it suddenly changed and he pulled away from her. "How could you, Syrenia? You let them bring me back to life?! Do you know what this will cause?!" he snapped, his black fur bristling around his neck. "Where's my daughter? Does she know about this?" he snapped.

((I’m assuming they were very close, but you’d have to ask Bynx for specifics…))

When Lupus snapped at her Syrenia turned her head to his the tears forming in the corners of her eyes.
She wouldn’t cry… There was no reason to cry.
After a moment of silence, she shook her head.
“No… Rina doesn’t know…”

Shaking her head, she slowly looked up at him, her blue eyes questioning.
Had he been missing her and Katrina as they had been him?
“Lupus… Please…”
She morphed down from Lycan to human and placed it on his.
“I…”
She blinked away as tears again forced themselves foreword, burning behind her eyes.
Why did she feel so weak?

[Jack]

Lupus growled and shrunk into his human form with difficulty. He hadn't been able to do that for a lone time and had almost forgotten. "Then tell me. why am I standing before you all...alive?" he asked, particularly fascianted that they had managed to bring him back to life but yet also curious as to why.

((Katrina and Lupus were very close, he taught her everything she knows, and since his death,s he has completely changed. His death affected her more than any other in their kingdom. ))

Layla rolled her eyes. "You dont get out much do you? Things like this happen all the time where we come from..But you wouldnt know that..You are stuck at the palace, while we have freedom to do and make what we please.." she taunted, quite overjoyed to see her sister approach.

Syrenia sighed and wrapped her arms around her self before blinking down.
"Do you rememebr the forbidden ceremony the elders spoke of?"
She looked up at Lupus, a pleading look in her eyes.
"Lupus..."
She blinked tears from her eyes and smiled faintly, still hardly believing he was back.

[Jack]

He growled, his gaze sweeping over her form. He could tell she was resisting the urge to run to him. For the moment, he wouldn't let her. This was all new to him. Life itself... "Yes..." he told her. "That dosen't explain why I'm here and why you did do it."

[Trix]

Syrenia blinked down.
"Lupus... I paid Lachra's apprentices to resurect you."
She frowned and blinked up at him before sighing softly.
"...I..."
She closed her mouth.
There was nothing to say....

[Tado]

“Tch, says you, wench… My movements are too covert to be traced by the likes of you, apprentice.” Putting an emphasis on the last word, he spat it out at Layla, not at all threatened by her presence. “And your freedom is limited even here, fool… With your master alive and well, there are things even you won’t do…”

[Jack]

Lupus only looked at her then turned to his limbs, inspecting them. He remembered... Oh yes... He remembered... The pain...The blood...His daughter's screams. He'd have his revenge but for now, since he was alive again, he shold wait. Hide in the shadows till he was definatly sure he was needed. He turned to Syrenia. "I'm ready to return home, now." he growled, unaware of what had happened since his death.

[Trix]

Syrenia wrapped her arms around Lupus and closed ehr eyes tightly before pressing her face into his shoulder and smiling.
"I...I can't believe it worked... I can't believe you're back...."
She smiled to herself and closed her eyes before inhailig sharply and shaking her head.

[Jack]

Lupus hesitated then slowly put his arms around her and pulled her close. He remember her feel now, how she fit perfectly into his embrace. He buried his head into her hair and sighed, a renewed vigor returning to him. Then, when she inhaled sharply, he pulled her away from him and looked down at her. "What's wrong?"

[Trix]

She blinked down and tears again fell from her cool blue eyes.
"I just can't believe you're back...."
She blinked at him and smiled feebly while sighing and trembling.
'How will I tell him about Dante? And what of Dante?'
She thought silently.

Layla merely laughed at him as Lily pulled up to her side. "Like what? Performing a forbidden ceremony that could cost us our lives? We work for Lachra, because she took us in as children, when no one else would. Demons and Angels do not work as lackeys, but, yes, we do enjoy working WITH her. " She hissed, placing a hand on his cheek. "Try not to be jealous..The way you eyed all her potions, I though you would go crazy." she laughed vindictively.
