Lupus actaully produced a smile as he wrapped her in another hug. "It'll be alright..." he told her. "Come, let us return home and rejoice my return. I'm sure the pack is eager to see me returned." he told her softly.

Syrenia closed her eyes and smiled. "I know they will be..." She opened her eyes and blinked up at him, her lips still covered by her smile. "Let us return home."

This time, it was Logan’s turn to laugh. Ignoring the lycans as they left the area, he pulled his broadsword free of its sheath and stabbed the ground near his feet. “I find it amusing that you think you can intimidate me, apprentice…And as a matter of fact, I am grateful that I don’t have to be that witch’s personal slave. How degrading that job must be. She keeps you from achieving your potential, you and I both know that… And she does it willingly, to make sure she remains the most powerful of her profession. Smile while you can, wench. I will oh so enjoy the day where your master puts an end to her useless slaves…” A smug smile appeared on his face, and the young drow stared at her defiantly.

Layla's mouth dropped as he spoke, and a fire burned in her eyes. Her nails grew instantly, she she rose her arm to strike him, yet as it came down, another hand grabbed it.
Lily glared at her sister before thrusting her arm back at her. "Get over your pride.." she snarled. Turning back to Logan, she folded her arms. "Yes, we know full and well she holds us back, but their are things she has yet to teach us, there fore we have a reason to remain with her. We, however, will never kill her. She may do with us as she wishes, but we are bound by a different force to keep her alive."

Staring at Lily with an even look, the drow nodded a little. “I see… A pact has been made to protect the witch. A pity it would be to lose such fine and aspiring apprentices it she did ‘deal’ with you two.” Pulling his sword free from the earth’s grasp, he smirked. “Although I must admit, your sister’s absence would go un-noticed in my eyes…” Casting a glare at Layla, he smiled. “Don’t let me catch you alone in the night… You might not make it back to your master’s dwelling, wench.” He harbored little respect for both, and even less attention. “Well it’s getting late, I’ll let you two get back to whatever it is you do…” Resting his blade against his shoulder, he turned away and started to leave.

Layla snarled as he left. "Strolling at night? How did you know."
Lily sighed at her sister before grabbing her hand and pulling her with her.
Picking up Hex, Layla followed, and the two were gone.
